Think about how OM was asking LE if they did not know who he was and what he had done. How he had searched the net for Orlando shootings,

Even as a kid, he was screaming for attention His school behavior says that loud and clear.

Kids from negative situations want attention and if they do not get positive, they will go for negative.

We have to turn this around . Not giving the names of his honored ones is one step. No recognition.

I don't think that's an accurate depiction of what was put into the written record today.

I didn't listen to the press conference or any news reports on it.

All I know at this point is what I read directly from the FBI as a source. I have not even read any news reporting on the release so I'm basing my interpretation of the record solely from what is in the release:

https://m.fbi.gov/#https://www.fbi....ive-update-regarding-pulse-nightclub-shooting

"No reports of shots being fired inside Pulse during a specific time frame based upon OPD radio communication" is a more accurate interpretation of what was put into public record today, IMO.

If reporters are saying something different based on what they read or think they heard, well, that's why I go to original documents when I can.

At some point today I will listen to the press conference to determine for myself what exactly was said.

No where in the release do I read "no shots were fired inside Pulse" between the initial exchanges and the final breech.

I'm in the process of incorporating information from the release with timelines that include information from eyewitnesses inside Pulse and other information. So far, I'm not seeing any conflicting information, but it is taking some time to pull all of the information together so there may be some conflicting info.

I dont think the conflict you mention is there, though. JMO.

Hi my dear

I will see if I can find the interview !

At what point did he shoot people that were already down? More than one witnesses said he was "making sure they were dead".

From more than one witness, that was described

8;12645491]Not only that, but one of the victims who was killed (Eddie Justice?) was texting his mother for 45-plus minutes after the original gunfire. He was in one of the bathrooms. His texts stopped just before 3am. So, I think it is obvious that he was still shooting/killing people after he was holed up inside Pulse.

ETA: And this is in no way putting any kind of blame on LE. I don't know if they could have done anything different to stop what was happening, but being dishonest when there is hard proof that he was still shooting/killing people is going to anger some people. Especially the victims families and the survivors who witnessed what was going on. There is nothing to be ashamed of in the way it was handled. OM was saying he had explosives. They had no way of knowing he didn't have them. They had to negotiate... or try. It was a hostage situation. Just be honest is all.[/QUOTE]

My take too.

Everyday! A great find-look at it everyone it has graphics that give a sense of what was going on the best one yet IMO

It also , like everything else in this mess is more than befuddling. Broadcastify claims that its servers went down the entire event.

But in thispiece they have small snippets of audio that says from Broadcastify?

Their web servers? They didn't stop broadcasting via scanner apps. I was alerted to unusually high traffic on Orlando Fire around 3 am and didn't turn the scanner off until after 7 am.

moo only. It so fits. I found the asking about African Americans in the bathroom telling. . He asked if there are any Africian Americans in the bathroom . He had to let them know, comfort them , that he would not hurt them, for who they were.

He had lived his entire existance, being hated for who he was. He felt a need IMO, to let AA know, I know what you have lived through, me too -Unlike so many people in my existance, I will not wound you. I will offer you love and safety. I will not hurt you ,like the world has me .

I need to provide you with comfort I never experinced in my life.

I understand your experience, I have lived it ....... I NEED you to know this

Is this from the Associated Press it?

11:50 a.m.

Police say that during a three-hour period after officers arrived on the scene of the Orlando nightclub shooting, no shots were fired.

Officials spoke Monday morning at a news conference about the June 12 massacre that left 49 victims dead. Orlando police Chief John Mina said that officers saved many lives when they arrived within minutes, shortly after gunman Omar Mateen began shooting about 2 a.m.

Mina says Mateen exchanged shots with police who first arrived at the scene, then retreated inside and barricaded himself in a bathroom, where witnesses have described club-goers being shot.

Mina says no other shots were fired until SWAT burst in to rescue hostages around 5:15 a.m.

The standoff ended with Mateen also dead.

Mina says, "There was no shooting for that three-hour period."

If so, I am now on a hunt for the video from the press conference because context can be everything.

As written by the AP reporter, Mina's comments could be interpreted in a way that conflicts with victim statements.

The way that story is told, he shot into the stalls then asked if anyone was AA. Sounds like an afterthought.

I am reading that the FBI has released a new unedited transcript but I can't find it.

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/join...ding-transcript-related-orlando-terror-attack

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday, June 20, 2016

Joint Statement From Justice Department and FBI Regarding Transcript Related to the Orlando Terror Attack

The Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) issued the following statement regarding the FBI's release of the transcript related to the Orlando shooting:

“The purpose of releasing the partial transcript of the shooter's interaction with 911 operators was to provide transparency, while remaining sensitive to the interests of the surviving victims, their families, and the integrity of the ongoing investigation. We also did not want to provide the killer or terrorist organizations with a publicity platform for hateful propaganda. Unfortunately, the unreleased portions of the transcript that named the terrorist organizations and leaders have caused an unnecessary distraction from the hard work that the FBI and our law enforcement partners have been doing to investigate this heinous crime. As much of this information had been previously reported, we have re-issued the complete transcript to include these references in order to provide the highest level of transparency possible under the circumstances.”

Transcript of Orlando Police Department 911 Calls, June 12, 2016

2:35 a.m.: Shooter contacted a 911 operator from inside Pulse. The call lasted approximately 50 seconds, the details of which are set out below:

OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the Islamic State.

OD: Ok, What’s your name?

OM: I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may God protect him [Arabic], on behalf of the Islamic State.

OD: Alright, where are you at?

OM: In Orlando.

[End of call.]

I read the article and it has nothing to do with the Orlando Terrorist attack. Did I miss something?
