Why would anyone do flakka. I can understand almost any other drug - prescription or otherwise - but damn, I can't imagine any high would be worth the potential terrifying effects from this one.

Yes, I think it would be big fun to grunt and repeatedly throw myself onto the sidewalk. Sign me up!

Ok to answer a few questions. Flakka is considered a designer drug. I believe an early version was similar to Molly as they made it illegal they would change up the ingredients to make it legal. Then came bath salts. Remember the man in Miami eating the homeless man's face while naked? Then they change it up again to make flakka. It's like $1-$5 a hit. Very cheap for college kids and extremely easy to get a hold of. The college kids probably think it's like cocaine...until you get that bad batch. Then it's all over.
It increases the body temp (reason to strip naked) runs up bp and can basically cook your insides. It can be chewed, swallowed, shot up, snorted and even vaped. It's very addictive and a lot of other drugs are being laced with it. Scary stuff.

Oh and let me add.... it can be bought in stores under different names. Seriously. And on the packaging it says not to ingest and even "only use on plants". So some people have a WARNING. This is a very nasty drug and with the chemicals constantly changing its very hard to trace.

We have only heard about one of the latest designer drugs!

The drugs — known by the street names "Budder" and "Flakka"

Have got even better news

The are using E ciggs to ingest

now I can see all of us running to other side of the street, mall, restaurant if we see a E cigg!

And we may get invol committed for acting strange when we see a E cigg, while in 90 minutes the person may be munching on someones face

How long did it take him to walk home the first time?

I dont remeber timeframe of when it starts , I do remember it says peak at 1.5 hours after injestion.

And...........that might make us conclude that he done it before, or researched it it would seem for someone to know that there would have to be some learning about it

I cant get past mental as primary soley because of YOu Tube stuff

Mental may have resulted in him trying Flaka recently and would then influence what then transpired

Dad expalined the walk out as a bathroom trip then vanishing act 3x that week. He could not have been on flaka all three times!

I dont think he would hang out with dad doing it, but that afternoon he was def on downward spiral.

Turtle shells dont typically result in a 3 mile run, sensing "evil". imo

its just that decomp was def intense that day

The basic drug screen did not show any self medicating- at all.

That an intense jump from clean to bath salts , from the son of medical person!!

I kinda have wondered if the shooting birds day might have been the day he first tried it. Its not like they are residing in Pike Co where a gun shot would not gather attn!!

So in some way it certainly shows very poor judgement call to be shooting birds in his neighbors yard!! I think alcohol could result in that in Pike co, but in that setting pretty unique

Flakka can do enough damage, even without AH drinking corrosive fluid as it seems he did. Still searching for answers to my new nagging question -- if drinking milk or even oil would somehow help soothe or detox the body from flakka?

Why did he drink it? What made him think to do it? Has he done it before?

Although... "oil pulling" is trendy and if he's so into working out and being healthy he would probably know about it. But does that fit more with mental illness or side effect from going off steroids/using flakka?
