There are a lot of really stupid spouses/ex's out there. Happens everyday.

I realize that but the fact is she went missing on the same day the show aired. Was it a coincidence? Did ex watch the show and it sparked homicidal tendencies? Did ex have someone else in his life that may have been angry with her?

So many questions still. I haven't watched the People's court show that aired. What was the outcome of the case?

This is my first post to WS. I have been reading up on cases here since 2008. I've never joined a message board before, so I will beg forgiveness for mistakes ahead of time.

I am not sure how to insert a link at this point (I will learn, promise!), but the Orlando Sentinel has an article timestamped 5:18 p.m. EST, November 20, 2011 that reports the following:

Parker's brother Dustin Erickson said Sunday that detectives are trying to determine where the Hummer SUV was traveling between 4 p.m. Thursday and 12 a.m. Friday, before it was dumped. The vehicle did have an On Star system but it was not activated, he said.

I had read this article and assumed that Michelle's movements were known up until 4pm. There were some other reports that stated that Michelle was last seen by friends at 4pm. Those were early reports, but I kept getting confused by the 2:30pm drop off and why she would be considered missing at that time if her friends saw her at 4pm.

The lack of accuracy in the news reports is astounding. Today's articles (other than the Orlando Sentinel) are full of mistakes. One even stated that she was dropping off her eleven year old son and the twins to their father.

I haven't been up to speed on all the details but I'm going to guess the reason the 4 pm timeline is because of the text the brother got? We don't for a fact that it was Michelle who replied is my understanding.

I see this story is getting more media attention, yahoo has it on their front page.. however they make it seem she is in hiding as appose to abducted. You can see the comments alone, people are drawing the conclusion she was embarrased and is in hiding instead of a real danger.. sigh

The ex- and Michelle were going to split the cost of the ring that was lost.

When you have a chance, watch the video of the People's Court appearances. He was pretty angry that he did not collect the full $5000 he was hoping to get from her for the missing ring.

I know I wouldn't be happy if I gave someone a $5,000.00 engagement ring and they threw it away. Although in this case, it was thrown at him and went off a balcony. :crazy:

I thought that too (still possible), but she threw it off a 9th floor balcony at a large sci-fi convention (link upthread). It's possible someone turned it in to "Lost and Found" at the convention place, or he or they ran a classified ad in "Lost" or "Found", and he recovered it.

Since reading that, I've wondered who's wearing that ring now (or sold it, pawned it, etc.).

As I said before... throwing a $5000 engagement ring at somebody seems more like something a teenager would do, not a 33 y.o. mother.... but that's JMO.

IDK... I just don't see that PC show being a motive for her disappearance, IF he's the one who did it.... whatever IT was. But I will reserve judgement until we know more facts.

Before this (in this video and in days past), she had said repeatedly that she thinks Michelle is still alive.

I wonder about her saying that on an MSM show today, particularly since the MPMP FB (apparently family-run or family-involved) was posting yesterday for posters to stop submitting tips and suggestions, that LE has much more info than has been released, and to let LE do their jobs. They said it could tip off those responsible for MP's disappearance.

Perhaps LE told her to (or it was OK to) say this today on MSM? :waitasec:

What I find interesting about this comment is, in a prior video Mom said she had even been in a crack house while out searching. (paraphrasing)

Then I believe it was on GMA this morning Mom (paraphrasing) said maybe she was she's lying around all drugged up somewhere.

Is this a clue? Does Michelle have a drug problem? Not that I know of. I'm only speculating by some of the comments Mom has made.

I looked for the GMA show for today and it's not up yet. Maybe another poster saw it also.
