This is very interesting to say the least. <modsnip>

A. <modsnip>
B. Mistaken about what he saw
C. Saw Michelle's Hummer at around 4pm
D. ? Anyone?
E. ?

I do have a question for you Ironhorse if you don't mind. What are your intentions on how to further use this info that you have? Do you plan on going to Le and or Dale's attorney?

I really thought the search would be ongoing today, since they seemed so determined yesterday...JMO
Maybe it was, but no one seems to know? Surely media would have picked up on it, it is not like it is a small, one-news media town, with weekends off.

Iron, didn't you say you saw the Hummer between 3-4 p.m.? That gives a wide window for different possibilities.

No, I said that my co-worker and myself believe we saw MP Hummer close to 4pm on the date she went missing... And in previous post I've supplied many reasons to back up why I believe this to be true... I'm in the process of trying to obtain our toll charges of that date to help narrow down the specific minutes we passed through the area. But until I hear from my Boss I can only offer estimates on the time. My Boss is the only person who has access to the company's epass account.

All is forgiven... :)

I wished it had been Elvis or even a UFO... But sadly it was the Hummer that's been so heavily talked about... I get a sense I was destined to have seen the thing. A great many things occurred that day that made it stick in my mind long before I knew the vehicle would come up missing. I probably pass hundreds of cars in my travels on a daily basis. Sometimes I see some really nice cars but when I first saw that Hummer something struck me about that vehicle that just told me to take more of a notice of it. I remembered it had an unusual Lic plate starting with AWG, and that reminded me of the old AMG cars. I noticed it's tire cover was crooked something you don't usually expect to see on a vehicle that nice and well taken care of. Then of course there was that first eye catching strange decal in the rear window... I was trying to figure out what 'GLOW' was meant to be advertising...

But with that said it still bugs me about how that vehicle could be in Waterford at 4pm when LE has said her phone was never in that area. Did she forget her phone or mistakenly leave it at DS Jr's house? That might explain why it never shows up as being in Waterford and could possibly explain why she never answered her 11 year old son?

For the record, I never fully trust sightings like these. That goes for all sightings across the spectrum of pretty much every case. Now, later developments may make me trust a sighting, but I usually categorize them under the category of rumors or unsubstantiated until some sort of firm evidence or a court case occurs where the person is called.
To explain myself further, I just do not trust the human eye or mind. Every case has tons of sightings. There are probably tons for Michelle that we do not even know about. The mind plays tricks in many ways. Suddenly every bald baby becomes Baby Lisa or every blonde college girl becomes Lauren. It does not mean the person is lying or making it up. It just means that sometimes eyes and brains can trick us in a lot of different ways. I know this is a somewhat strange position and a lot of sightings are added as pure fact to cases or considered as such. That is ok, but I still think I am going to place them in the maybe pile as opposed to certain pile.
<Mod Snip>

Not to participate in anything that would sound like bickering or immaturity- only to explain why I do not think we can take it as an absolute fact that her car was where you've recently stated it was, at the time it was:
Taking off where Darcy started: I'm a psych major, some of the things we've learned about eye witness testimony is ASTOUNDING. One of our professors actually used us as guinea pigs during a lecture , we did an out side lecture that day,in the middle of the lecture actors ran by (we didn't know to be prepared for it) and acted out a set up. We were all asked as a class afterwards to describe what we saw- including giving details about one of the specific individuals. You wouldn't believe how different our descriptions of the individual was. It was hilarious- because every one of us was CONVINCED we were right and every one else was an idiot- and most of us were not correct. I remembered the guy having brown hair- he in fact had a shaved head . :blushing: Our brain doesn't like missing details - when we haven't processed input, it doesn't want to leave it it blank. It will draw on a multitude of other memories to "fill in the blanks" so to speak. An eye witness saying some one they personally know did something is generally accurate, where as eye witness details about a person/thing they aren't familiar with can be way off.

There is a chance you saw that hummer, at exactly the time you are now saying, with the exact glow mobile decals on it and all. There is an equally likely a chance that your brain is filling in details now that you've had time to reflect on your first reporting of what you witnessed. Perhaps it was a black hummer, with different decals, or on a different road, or it was HER hummer with her in it at a different time, or in a different place.

That leaves us with many questions, we unfortunately can not currently answer.

Was it really her hummer , where you now say , at the time you now said , with her driving?
If so, did she actually disappear later? Return to DS's house as some have implied? (Possibly to retrieve her phone, seeing as it hasn't been in the area you claim to have seen her, did she get there , realize she left it, and return to pick it up from DS's house?) Or not return ever, get abducted (possibly a serial killer who is responsible for at least two other highly publicized missing women in the Orlando area- perhaps he stalks, waits in prey, and picks a time where it will appear it HAS to be someone else -E.g. Dale Smith or James Hattaway)
Was it a different hummer?
Was it hers at a different time?
Was it hers , being driven by someone else (neither you nor your partner claim to have seen her from my understanding, your partner simply said woman as far as i'm reading)

There are so many things that COULD have happened. I tend to say "look in the direction that seems most likely with lack of another route to go". We have an ex, with a history of abuse, who is the last confirmed person to have seen her (granted - i am only saying confirmed there could have been more people to have seen her after who have not come forward) Whether he ends up being guilty or not- it IS the most likely place to start , and until other reasonable avenues arise , LE is doing all they can. If other likely issues arise, they too need to be explored thorough. However- we don't currently have anything else to investigate. While there is only circumstantial evidence surrounding Ds jr .... there isn't even circumstantial evidence suggesting anything else at the moment.

Obviously, I will not be surprised if it ends up Dale jr being guilty . I also, as I've stated before, wouldn't be surprised if this is some how connected to Jennifer Kesse and Tracy Ocasio -be it a serial killer, or sex trafficking- what have you. A random car jacking I do, however, find unlikely (but not impossible) generally people are not murdered during a car jacking (though they often are threatened with weapons) and IF they are, they are generally left at the scene- not hidden. I don't know of any other possible scenarios- as none have been posed. I am truly interested in hearing them if anyone has them though, as I think it would be helpful for ALL avenues to at least be brought up.

lol the timeline link you posted is from Dominic Casey PI for the Anthony's.

ETA I bet he gets most of his stuff from WS.

OMG! :noooo:

Some of these folks are like ants at a picnic and never go away.

Oh, for those of you who are not familiar, just pass this guy on by. Trust me on that.

All is greatly appreciated :)

I like all of you wish to see this womans mysterious disappearance resolved. I only signed up on WS for this particular case and had never heard of WS before this. Many years ago I used to work in the loss prevention/security field having been certified and licensed by the State (I no longer do that sort of work)

I hope that you can get the evidence together and taken to LE ASAP. If this was my missing daughter, I would want the person responsible to be accountable. No one would want somebody wrongfully accused of such a horrible act. You may have a key piece of evidence. PLEASE follow thru with this information!

1) I'm not a veteran of this or any missing person/ crime forum 2) I'm not educated about decomposition and how long a body can last under water, especially in Florida. 3) I desperately want the killer of this lovely young mother (I say DS Jr) prosecuted.

As such, and since most searches for Michelle have been in bodies of water, how long can police go before there is no body left to find? Also, who thinks that LE can make an arrest without a body, assuming the phone contains information that could help LE and that they have more info than they're saying?

  • #468
oh-As far as the Hummer sighting. I totally agree with the logic that the human brain will try to fill in missing info, and may not be accurate, etc.
However, I do know that I myself ALWAYS look at Hummers, they used to be pretty rare, but I still notice them.

I asked my husband if he pays "Extra" attention to Hummers on the road, and he also does. Ironically I asked this question while driving today my children were pointing out all the Hummers on the road and the model they were. My kids play a game that features Hummers. Anyway, just thought I'd put this out there in the defense that some folks on here are implying that perhaps the Hummer sighting was a mistake, and WHY would someone pay so much attention to a Hummer.

I know for a fact that if my child, spouse, ex, or whoever disappeared such as Michelle Parker has (or countless others), I would not think twice about taking a polygraph, allowing search of my home/property, turning over my cell phone, my vehicles, etc.... Nothing would possess me to hinder any and all efforts to locate them as quickly as possible, IF I knew that I was innocent of any involvement. I cannot wrap my head around why anyone would not do the same. It does NOT mean he is guilty, it along with all of his other behaviors indicates that he is not doing anything and everything he humanly can to aid in finding and bringing Michelle home and has not from the beginning. Not one single flyer has he hung... Why not? Her family supported him on national television not only the first 10 days before he was named prime suspect, but even AFTER.

You know I thought the same thing, then my mind was changed. Polygraphs are not a good tool in solving a crime. A lawyer will always recommend against them.

Do we know for certain MP wasn't going to go spray tan someone? What if a perp set an appt for a tan and had other ideas for her? To me, that makes sense as to why the Tan decal was removed from the vehicle, because its directly connected to the perps reason of being in contact. Does that make sense? Something inside me still believes this was a crime done by a sexual predator.

Also,I watched the 3part PC on YT and it doesnt appear that Dale was super angry. It didn't seem like that would have fired him up. He didn't seem aggressive to me at all.

I really pray that DS didn't commit a crime against MP, those kids need both of their parents, and if something terrible has happened to MP those kids will need their dad. :(

ETA-What I mean by the PC episode is that I don't see how it would have been embarrassing to DS and that he would be angry watching it.....However, I definitely see how it would cause a conversation between the two, and hopefully DS wasn't drinking....

Seeing that episode aired is probably the first time Dale saw what Michelle said when she exited the court room. And also, while he might not have been initially embarrassed, there were reports that he was being teased, etc on his facebook page about it. Given what we've learned about his personality, I can't see him laughing along with them. IMO

The question remains how was her vehicle at Alafaya at around 4pm then? That's the part that bugs me...

Until LE confirms that Michelle was at Alafaya (was there not another opined location?) by other means than one unsure eyewitness....we can say that Michelle was not there. The eyewitness is not even sure it was Michelle...so no one should say she was there...and until we have video evidence or another witness...not buying it. Sorry, no disrespect intended.

If my spouse went missing I would NEVER take one. If I am innocent then no need to and if I'm guilty well then... Of course a lot of people feel like you do until they are sitting in jail. If you think that there are no innocent people sitting in jail who have been charged with killing their spouses and did the same thing that you would do then you are living in a fantasy world. No offense.

I do have a question for you Ironhorse if you don't mind. What are your intentions on how to further use this info that you have? Do you plan on going to Le and or Dale's attorney?

I had already reported this to Crimeline by that following Monday after she disappeared. I had heard and seen the story about MP disappearance on TV news, but it wasn't until late Sunday night did they show a picture of the rear of her Hummer. I liked to have fallen out of my chair as I knew instantly I had seen that vehicle. I began to think intently as to when and where that was and I was left with only one possible time, it was the day she disappeared. I found a flyer online that showed the picture of the rear of the hummer and handed it to my co-worker that Monday and He instantly hung his head in great disappointment. I knew I didn't have to ask if he recalled seeing the vehicle the expression on his face and reaction told it all. But wishing to confirm where and when we saw it I had to ask him where did he recall seeing it and on what date. We both had reached the same conclusion as I had not said a word as to where I thought it had been.

Now granted you have asked the hardest question of all in respect to DS Jr's attorney. No I have not spoken to the man... I did however post what I believed to have seen once on the MP missing FB page and it was removed. After which I figured it was either checked out or they didn't want such info posted on there... Witnesses (including myself) have limited usefulness when it comes to sightings. So, discard all I've said but if the 408 Toll road cameras captured one image of MP Hummer near Alafaya anywhere close to 4pm then that speaks a lot louder than any testimony I could provide.

I agree about the potential problems with eyewitnesses. I was one in an accident case and I was 100% sure of what I witnessed. And I testified to that during the trial. And thenI saw some of the surveillance video from the gas station, and SOME of what I testified to witnessing was incorrect. I did not lie, I did not make anything up, but some of my memory was incorrectly remembered. If that makes sense. I was correct about which car was at fault, but incorrect about some of the order of events. And I was 100% certain I had seen it all perfectly.
