I agree. MP worked as a bartender, so who knows what sick person may have seen her at work and then had his interest develop into an obsession. There's just so many unanswered questions.

Said sick person waited until just as soon as she dropped the twins w/ their father and not earlier in the day when she was alone? Not the night before when she got off shift (if she was working the previous night) or after she met the new BF for coffee....

While it is possible, it just doesn't make much sense really. These things tend to happen when the victim is at home or some other place on foot. Is sick person following her in a car? What does sick person do to get into her vehicle & then what does sick person do w/ his vehicle-leave it in the road?

Feel free to tell me what you see "unfolding"?

Please refer to the excellent timeline posted here and get with me if you have any questions after reading the timeline. (Or, hey...even find a timeline (accurate, please) anywhere else).^i^

All points of interest provide damning evidence that Dale is the only one to focus on. Look at straight line:

Point a: Dale's house
point b: where cell phone was found
Point c: where cell phone last pinged
Point d: Dale's parents home (where Dale was during disappearance)
Point e: where hummer was found - just 3 miles from Dale's parents

What are the odds that points a thru e would connect in a straight line?

All of what you posted is not damning evidence by any means. If it was, Dale would have been arrested by now. If they find Michelle's body tomorrow it will not add to this list as a piece of damning evidence. All of this is nothing more than speculation as to guilt towards Dale.

Means, Motive, and Opportunity

ETA~ I love Google Earth. Can anyone tell me which condo is DS and which is the neighbor with the camera?

I have thought about this and one possibility is as you described. She stopped at a store? There is a 7Eleven east of DS Jr's house on Lee Vista Blvd. If she was truly headed home after leaving DS Jr's house then going east on Lee Vista Blvd to catch the 417 would have been her speediest route home. The 7Eleven parking lot is configured in a way that if she parked on the Lee Vista side it would have limited most peoples view of her vehicle.

Other than being approached in a parking lot how else would you get a person to allow you to approach them or have them exit their vehicle? A minor bump of one car into another would work nicely. Think about it most people are terrified of being accused of a hit and run. So, if another vehicle bumped yours you'd not give it a second thought about pulling over to check the damage. That would give the perfect opportunity for someone to do an abduction and be on their way in a flash.

Lee Vista Blvd doesn't have a lot along it's path from DS Jr home east to the 417...

I'm not saying a carjacking occurred I'm merely offering it as one possibility. It happens a lot more than people think and it happens in the blink of an eye. Most people just think it can never happen to them so it's easily dismissed by the unknowing. I travel in some of the worst parts of Orlando and elsewhere in the State. I get approached all the time by individuals who if they had the opportunity would quickly knock me in the head. I've been fortunate thus far because I stay very alert and not let myself get drawn into situations that would lead me to mortal harm.

Wouldn't there have been damage to her car that the police would recognize as a possible bump scenario? MP doesn't strike me as the type to fall for a bump. And wouldn't you notice a nice black Hummer w/ a pretty girl pulling over in what appears to be an accident if you were driving by? I just don't see it. And what about the fact she didn't make her usual call to her son at 3:45? Somewhere between 3:18 & 3:45 she was made unable to use that phone to do that. That's a very small amount of time she would have almost had to literally pull up, unbuckle kids, say bye & hop back in the car. Dale said they talked for what 10 minutes I think he said (honestly it could have been more)? So if it takes let's say 4 minutes to unbuckle both kids & grab their things (3:22 now), talk for a few minutes w/ DS (3:43 now oops, out of time). Now, this is all depending on if the son called her at 3:45 as he usually did. Only LE knows the call/text log for certain. I believe the GPS on her phone & the pings from his are telling LE all they need to know & that is why they have named him as the prime suspect. JMO.

Ok so said person follows Michelle to Dale's or abducts her somewhere after she leaves Dale's house then takes over Michelle's vehicle and drives along the same route that Dale will later drive and abandons the car three miles from where Dale ends up that night. Are you serious? No jury would buy that...

well a jury might buy that...if they're from Pinellas county maybe. just sayin' :floorlaugh:

Are the roads from Dale's home to her own heavily traveled? If someone decided to bump her is it possible that no one saw?

The 7eleven scenario would have to have occured as soon as she pulled into the blinded side, correct? If she had already gone in to make her purchase she would be on camera.

Lee Vista Blvd isn't all that heavily traveled from DS Jr home East to the 417. It's a 4 lane highway but traffic is pretty light for such a big road.

Yes, it's possible she could have been bumped and no one else saw it. What's worse is someone could have seen her stopped on the side of the road and never gave it any thought. I see cars parked along side of the road all the time and sometimes there is people standing around them. I probably saw a dozen like that over this last week but I couldn't tell what the cars looked like. I'm sure that's true for most everyone else when they think about all the cars they see setting on the side of the highway in their daily travels.

The 7eleven scenario depends on a lot of varying factors. First someone would have to recall having seen her come in the store. Without someone being aware she stopped there how would they know to check what the cameras recorded? And like you said she might not even have made it into the store? Again why would the 7Eleven review its camera recordings if they was unaware anything took place there? Besides the area where I was speaking of regarding the parking lot probably isn't even in a camera's view.

LOL see this is were you are wrong. I don't want anyone on here to believe anything I say as all of this is just an opinion. You talk about ignoring "all the facts and evidence" Feel free to give me one fact or piece of evidence as it pertains to the guilt of Dale. I would love to hear or see it.

In the court of public opinion, you are right, we do not have concrete evidence. There certainly is reasonable doubt as to Dale's guilt or innocence. That is why he is a free man.

To get to a logical person other than Dale you need to

1. ignore Dales lies/misstatements:
"she arrived at 4pm"
"she was going shopping

2. Ignore coincidences that cell phone, last ping, and hummer found either in between Dale's house and his dad's house or within miles of route dale took that day.

3. Ignore mysterious text that just happened to line up with Dale's comments that Michelle "went shopping".

4. Ignore Michelle's promptness and chalk up that she "forgot" about her 11 year old son who was getting off the bus between 3:30 and 3:45

I could go on and on. None of these alone are convicting evidence, however when you add them all up, you have to ignore a mountain of circumstantial evidence to come to any other logical conclusions...

If I am a clerk at 7-11, I would notice a woman that pretty in a big black Hummer. IJS & I'm female. She is a very striking girl. Couple that w/ a striking & attention getting vehicle w/ lettering all over the windows, I would certainly remember that if I saw that same girl & vehicle plastered all over the place later. But, I'm a little more observant than most people while out in public. :giggle:

In order to arrest Dale they need proof that a crime was committed. Without a body, blood, etc I do not believe they have what they need for a conviction.

But With a body, I disagree with you. I suspect that LE would be able to coordinate Dale's cell phone and Michelle's cell phones being in same place at same time and whatever other evidence already collected.

If police only had suspicion wouldn't he be a "person of interest" rather than a suspect? They know something we don't... They aren't looking at anyone else as a possible suspect - that is pretty telling in itself. They would be looking at all angles UNLESS they have no evidence to support a theory other than Dale was involved.

Ya'll are in a zone tonite...

What stores were close to where Michelle's car was parked? Does anyone have a satellite or arial view of the parking lot itself? I wrote down all of these streets and areas so I could be somewhat useful in the event that the scanner (which is abomidably horridly annoying to listen to) that I will be listening to tomorrow might have a police call in any of those areas.

From my understanding, the parking lot where Michelle's Hummer was found was on the (corner?) of...Conroy Rd. and Vineland Rd.

As far as the car jacking theory...what brand of Hummer is it? Have any of ya'll driven one? It is not exactly the best vehicle to try and approach and car jack. I am not saying it could be done...I am saying it is not the most logical choice unless you really wanted the vehicle. As far as stalking goes, why didn't the surveillance camera show her leave DS's neighborhood? Was it the angle of the camera? Or was it driven out much later at night? If someone was following her...if we can't see the Hummer in daylight being driven out...wouldn't that stalker be following a hummer we can't see...???

I am just spit balling here. But if DS is really responsible for this...I have every confidence in the world it will catch up with him, whether it is in a court of law or somewhere else. In my experience, it always does. :)

We all have our opinions and that is perfectly fine. What I find really surprising is that many of you seem to want Dale to be guilty, why I don't know. Maybe because of his checkered past many feel that this would be pay back somehow who knows. Let me ask everyone here a question. What if your Mother went missing? Would you rather it be a stranger that killed her or your Father? I personally hope to God and pray that Dale is innocent and I do this for the children. Think about it this way, years from now when all the dust settles and we have forgotten about Michelle, her two children will be living with one of two truths. One may be that their Mother was killed by a stranger or the other that their Father killed their Mother. Which one would you wish one these kids? Yeah we don't like Dale, but maybe Dale will turn out to be a good parent if he is innocent and at least the children will still have a parent.

I know plenty of LE people and I can tell you that if they need a warrent to check a house they are going to get it one way or another. I personally am glad that
they searched since you never know, but don't assume that just because they
got a warrent that they have all kinds of great evidence. It could have been
nothing more than an anonymous tip.

Another thing to consider is this. If I was the one who took Michelle and a few days later saw that her ex BF was prime suspect I would be jumping for joy. If I
had her phone I may just plant it somewhere. Heck I might even buy a
disposable cell phone and make a call to LE and let them know where "Dale"
hide the body and I'm sure I can say a few other incriminating comments to seal
the deal. What if Michelle was or is still alive (not saying she is dead) when LE
announced Dale as PS? Wouldn't this give some sicko out there free reign to do
whatever he wanted to her and then kill her knowing her could just dispose of
her near Dale's house or his parents. By now this guy would def know where
they are all located!

Some of you are criticising Dale for not working. Would any of you want to even
step foot out the door knowing that you are one of America's most hated
men!!!!! Maybe we will get lucky and someone will shoot the guy for doing such
a terrible thing and hopefully he is guilty right or else two innocent people may
now be dead.

If I had two children to feed and take care of I would not just walk out my Door and go to work I would crawl if I had to, I sure would not go on Facebook and beg for donations to take care of my kids...the kids already have a daycare that they go to so why can dad not drop them off there and go to work, who cares if he wont win a popularity contest in Orlando he should be man enough to take care of his kids while he can because at some point this is all going to catch up with him....and I would bet money he is watching more about the searches as he stays home than watching the kids...I sure hope that some crackpot in Orlando does not take your advice and do anything to Dale Smith Jr..I prefer to see the judicial system take care of him rather than someone half cocked...as far as all the other things about some one else haing Michelle and planting evidence against Dale Jr that is just wishful thinking, once LE was done processing Michelle's truck they named him the prime suspect so there was no one planting evidence against Dale Jr...and also with that I am from a family of LE a d trust me if there is not probable cause a judge will not authorize a search warrant this isnt CSI or the other dramas on tv this is real life and all of that info will need to be turned over to a defense attorney during discovery at some point, so rest assured all of the I will be dotted and the t's crossed.

No it's speculation the same as with all the DS Jr theories... But this much is true we have lots of carjackings and we've had 4 women disappear in the area that have never been found... So anything is possible no matter how remote it might seem.

Yesterday you had me looking again at the video showing the perp pass by the gate in the Jessica Kesse case...and trying to compare that to the People's Court video... LOL:waitasec:

If Dale knew how prompt Michelle was and I'm betting he did I wonder why he said she got there at 4pm? I'm also betting he knew what time her son got home so why not just say she left at 3:30ish? As far as the text I don't recall the text saying anything about shopping and I don't recall Dale mentioning anything about her going shopping in Waterford. Ao there is noting mysterious about the text in that regard. If Dale wanted to convince people "where" she went shopping then he would have tried to match his supposed lie with a place that matched the text he supposedly sent. "She went shopping- in Waterford".

You wouldn't notice the Hummer if it never parked in an area that afforded you a view of the vehicle. You might have noticed the woman but only if she made it into the store. So an abduction could still take place and you be totally unaware of it if happened before you ever got to met her.

12. Keeping kids from Michelle's family

I could have some sympathy for him not working if he were more of a public employee. That would be a little more understandable.

He doesn't have to blame it on having to care for the kids though. I feel certain someone would come up with the daycare money if he wanted them to be in their most comfortable and neutral environment. That daycare is not going to let anyone walk in and take those kids. They arent losing their jobs over this. They probably have little mouthes to feed too.
