Thing is I feel that your facts don't prove that Dale is guilty. Now if her phone was found a block or two away from his dad's house then maybe I would think differently, but then again I would also be thinking set up. Actually I can't believe that someone can hide a body so well, but decides to throw her phone off a bridge? If I had to get rid of an Iphone it would be too easy to make sure it would never be found again. For the record I am not saying that he is innocent just that nothing so far leads me to believe that he has murdered Michelle.

I would sincerely like to hear anyone's timeline theory as to how Dale pulled this off. Some here think that he had help either from his dad, mom a friend or even a girl friend. I find it hard to believe that he would be able to get so many people involved and have them keep quiet for so long. Let's assume that Dale killed Michelle within the first few minutes of her arriving. This guy has a lot to do especially if he did this out of anger and needed to stay calm. He had to get rid of a body and a car and not be seen by anyone and hope that he was not caught by a surveillance tape. All of which (that we know of) he has managed to do. He had to hatch this plan quick too as he knows he has limited time. If he did do this then I am beginning to think that Dale is part Ninja.

Everyone knows where I come down on this. I think Dale Smith Jr. is the most probable suspect. I have explored that ad naseum. We simply don't know what LE has or does not have other than they publically named him their primary suspect.

But I have to run with other theories right now or I will go bonkers...and I don't want to see the whole board collapse around itself with personal attacks or anything like that...because everyone posting on here is better than that.

This is a forum for victims and I have to believe every single one of us wants Michelle found.

More questions...because of an eyewitness account placing her in her Hummer...

1) Was someone in the backseat of her Hummer forcing her to go there?
2) If she did place that one word text to her brother "Waterford" why did she lie? Was she doing something she didn't want her family to know about? Was she already under durress and forced to make that text?
3) Since we know she needed to make it back on her side of town, not only to see her son, possibly change clothes/makeup/shower to get ready for her shift at the Barn (where we know she was due to be there way before 7:30), and go to dinner with her boyfriend...why would she be driving in the opposite direction of where she needed to be? Was it drugs? Was she shopping for a new outfit for her date/bar shift? Was she going to meet someone else for another reason? Would not her I phone hold the answers for LE if that was the case? Would she have called or texted that person? on that day or the night before?

Just more questions...I am not backing off of my theory about Dale. I think it is the most probable scenario. But as we are a forum for victims and we want Michelle found, our primary focus is bringing her home...and I cannot discount any other possible theories.

Someone mentioned a hired hit...and a lot of us dismissed it out of hand. This does not, imo, eliminate Dale. But what if she did drop off the kids and leave...and was attacked later? By a hired person? these are questions that do need to be answered.

A hired hit is very much a possibility.

Does this toll booth take pictures? Because I would like to see for sure who might have been driving the Hummer.

There are cameras at the toll (both cash booth & the epass) and also a large dome camera at the intersection where Iron sat in traffic w/ the Hummer after exiting the 408 onto Alafaya.

The problem with all of this is we do not have a firm timeline. Yes, we know that Michelle arrived at Dale Jrs around 3:18 only because of the video provided by a neighbor. We have no clue or idea as to what time her Hummer left Dale Jrs. We have no idea as to where he was between 3:18 and the time that her Hummer was found. Yes, Dale Sr has given Dale Jr an alibi however that does not make it true. Dale Sr could have simply agreed to give his son an alibi because his son asked him to since he was "home alone with no one to verify it". The point is, we don't know. There are HOURS that Dale Jr could have had to do whatever it was that he did.

The photo may have been released merely to show that the phone found looks like Michelle's phone.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the photo. Maybe LE just wanted to prove that they weren't mistaken or bluffing, and it really is her phone.

It is a fact that LE named him the prime suspect. they had to have reason to do so..because they could be sued if not. It is a fact that a sitting judge had to sign off on the warrant for Sr's house...and had to have probable cause to do so. So they had to have something to base it on. It is also a fact that the phone was found on the route to Sr's house from Jr's. It is also a fact that this man has prior violent acts against others. There is more than enough reason to suspect that Jr was involved.

I totally agree. I went back to work this week, so I'm behind on the last two threads. But from browsing through, I see it's been mentioned several times that people are focusing solely on DS.

But from the beginning (in the early threads), MANY possibilities were being thrown around, about what could have happened to MP. And a lot of us entertained those ideas for a time. I, for one, posted that I thought she very well could have been abducted as she was either heading for or leaving the Waterford area. But over time, based on the information that has been made public, I've felt more and more that DS is responsibile for her disappearance.

I think most of us would be open to other suggestions, IF we had something else to work with. But we don't. Even if we want to believe it was the random act of a stranger, what leads are there? If she was taken at the mall, now what? How do we go about following or even discussing other possibilities, if we haven't been made aware of anything that doesn't point to or suggest DS?

So for the board as whole to be accused of wanting DS to be guilty, or having tunnel vision on him as the only possible perpetrator, isn't really fair. :twocents:

I was a local decades ago, but my scenario that I posted Thursday night was that the perp or an accomplice was driving the Hummer to be observed and recorded on a toll road near Waterford, and then went down S. Alafaya to Curryford, and on from there to carry out other necessary disposal deeds.

Do we have someone on the board that deals with statistics? What I would love to know is the odds of Michelle's disappearance having to do with someone, anyone other than Dale Jr.

Based on what we know, what are the odds that someone else would have something to do with Michelle being gone? The following is what we know:

Michelle drops the twins off at Dale Jrs home around 3:18 on the same day that the episode of The People's Court that they appeared in. Michelle's Hummer was found hours later approximately 3 miles from Dale Srs home. Michelle's phone was found on a route that is a straight line from Dale Jrs to Dale Srs. Dale Jr is the last known person to see or speak with Michelle. Dale Jr has a known history of violence towards women and men. Michelle has no known history of leaving her children for days. Michelle's Hummer was found with at least the back decal removed from it.

So based on those things, what are the odds that Dale Jr is not involved? What are the odds that someone else, a stranger is involved? IMO I can clearly see why LE has named Dale Jr as the only suspect.
