I've managed to confuse myself on the condo numbering system. Please bear with me!

Are we saying that the condo with the red car in the driveway is number 6600? I have been trying to follow the weird numbering system in the condo complex by reviewing the property records, but I think I lost it.

Incidentally, I stumbled onto another weird coincidence. The same property management company handles the Carter Glenn condos and the Walden Circle complex where Michelle's Hummer was found. Do we know if DS II has any connections to the property management company?

It seems like shape of a dodge to me but not as big as durango. I thought more like the dodge nitro. I went through about 20-30 suvs and dodge nitro seemed closest after stacking them to compare.

Since we know car at Dale Sr is Scion, do we have anyone on here that owns one or can comment if the car seen in drive at Jr's is a Scion. I can't see how this could be a Scion based on shape but maybe the angle is off. Anyone? Bueller?

I know the jury is still out on the two cars, but I put this together just for interest. The pix of the top two cars (Scion xD) are taken from car level. The third car, in the neighboring condo, is taken from the surveillance cam at a higher level.

To be honest, the biggest problem I have had through all the Scion discussion was that I simply don't think the car looks orange. Maybe an orange red, but not orange orange.:dunno:

We have a nitro in the family, and I don't recall seeing any of the cars linked that resembled a nitro. Though, there have been so many posted that i certainly could be missing one. Would you mind linking to the one you think looks like a nitro?

Here's the picture I posted yesterday when I was comparing the car in question to 2 pix of Scion xDs. It's the bottom car, and was filmed from the surveillance cam that's on the balcony of the building where Dale lives.

I'd still like to know where that black SUV in DSSr's driveway on the night of the raid fits in considering that it appears the senior Smith's use the silver/grey SUV most of the time and park it in the spot where the black one was in the raid video. I understand they were both home so where was the silver/grey one that night? Who was not home and may have been driving it?

Also, the black one has a trailer hitch and the silver/grey one does not. So if the boat rumour is true then it must have been the black one that DSSr was driving the day after Michelle disappeared. So did the silver/grey one disappear for a week or so?

I was wondering the same thing because I think that is the only picture I have seen it in. It looks like an Explorer.

The management company is Reid Rental Management. Their website lists the properties that they manage. It appears that they manage a pretty high number of properties.

I called a friend that works for a property management company and he told me that usually large companies like his subcontract out a lot of the work. It is too expensive for them to employ all of the people needed to maintain large properties, not to mention purchase and store equipment. My friend's job is to oversee the hiring and scheduling of the subcontractors. He told me that he gets frustrated because he has no control over the workers that the subcontractors hire and he's had some problems because of that.

We aren't from Florida so he wasn't able to tell me anything about this particular management company, but he has worked for a couple different ones and he said they were pretty much the same. The whole thing made me wonder if DS II has friends that work for any of the subcontractors or whether there were any projects going on in the complex on the day that MP went missing.

It is very likely Dale knows many subcontractors in the area. It would be interesting to know if every unit that was unoccupied or having work done on it has been searched???? What about any waste unit, like the big trash bins contractors use to put the site trash in, the ones contractors use? Waste Management bins you rent? I think I mentioned that before, so sorry for repeating. But I still think people do what is familar to them, like if they pass a river every day on a drive or lots of woods or hike in an area, or know of places no one would think to look for a body, like a construction site waste bin; that ends up at the land fill. Just stuff to think about. Where was he working at the time, what job site, not the place he goes to clock in, the actual site location.

I looked at their website and they do have quite a number of available units in various places....around Orlando to Miami

So ...Im guessing whoever owns a Condo in Carter Glen can hire this company and Reid doesn't have like an exclusive on the complex just a unit here and there...We are not sure how many units they manage here that are rented and not listed on their website. I see a few at the Walden Complex. Walden Circle has condos and apartments I think.
But there is a slight connection but not like I was originally thinking...(like an apartment complex might have) and really no more than any independent Heating and air company might have working at both complexes for the owners of the units.There are probably many subs that have worked at both places.

Dale is still the prime suspect for a reason...and LE surely has made some kind of connection to him.... my bet is he travelled with her cell phone during that afternoon but again we arent privy to infor LE have. JMO

IDK, but I keep asking myself, if I only had a few hours to complete this job, where oh where would he put a body? I am thinking parents took the kids, and he took his van and got rid of Michelle. Just want I think. I also think it will be a place he is familar with.

Funny you mention Jennifer's case... Im gone back so many times looking at the person walking by the gate and comparing it to DS... But the person appears to have dark hair in her case... still amazed how 3 seconds on that camera could have changed everything.

What jobs had DS2 been working on? Im thinking cabinet installing had to be a little slow in this depressed market..(being home at 3PM on a Thursday might be some evidence of it being slow)

Was he a subcontactor or an employee of Masco? if a Sub that could be why he hasnt had much work or any after the titusville job? maybe there isn't much work.


But how would he be able to pay for all the nice things he has?
Wonder if he does work for his dad's company?

FWIW, management companies don't always deal w/ a development in a rental agent capacity, they manage properties for HOA's. This can entail receiving HOA fees, preparing meeting documents, fines for breaking bylaws, contracting w/ maintenance companies, etc. since Carter Glen appears to be primarily owner owned units, I am guessing the management co. is not acting as a rental agent. They generally don't have employees on site unless there is an issue. For instance, our HOA had a managmnt co just for bookeeping basically. The HOA members monitored the security cameras, contracted the maintenance workers, etc. HTH.

I would like to know, will LE ever release any of the info/details that they have?
Isn't there a point where LE says to themselves "we could really use the publics help on this"?
That never seems to happen in any of these cases....why?

ETA: I don't want the above to sound like a diss on LE, it is not meant to be. I just feel like if they threw us a bone, we could be more helpful and in turn that would benefit LE and the family. I mean, it's certainly not news to DSJr that he is a person of interest so how could LE giving us more info hurt their investigation?
