I have been mapping areas of interest for a long time.

1) Actually, there is a place on Vineland that one could actually drive off the road into the woods if they wanted... at least that is how it looks to me.

2) Another spot that might be good too was behind Florida Mall Ave around Windegard Rd, (it appears this is also where Fuddrucker's is, and there is a possibility that this area may have some significance, but I cannot disclose why. I'll just say it may have been a meeting place at some point, and if someone wanted to stay close, they might pick there to meet...). Another thing that struck me with this area, is that the road begins with Wa. During our expirement with 'Waterford text' we learned the phone automatically brings up Waterford once you have began typing W or Wa. If someone were struggling over a phone after having begun a response with W or even Wa, and then Waterford automatically came up, and send accidentally got pressed in the struggle, it could have come up as Waterford when something else was actually intended... and using the theory that in lies, lies truth, it is by shopping... just a thought.

3) The woods around Office Ct and across tracks to wooded area around Bay lake (Belle Isle area). I cannot place a marker at my actual locations for H and I, but the wooded areas there appear to offer a lot of cover. There is no trespassing sign for the dirt road that runs along the tracks, but if you drive into Office Ct and park, you could still get over there, and you still could drive there too, if you didn't listen to the sign or looked like you fit in anyway (look like a maintenance worker, for example). And, even at the end of Office Ct there is a small patch of woods you can drive into, a couple dumpsters, etc...

4) Place at the Millinia, near the enterance, where it is not gated. You can park there and a path looks to go right into the woods/water area there. Millinia is aleady earmarked with history. It may be viable.

All of these areas would be a rather conveinient drive from the Rose address. When you have already done something illegal, then where would you draw the line? You wouldn't want to get caught at this point, so you may drive without breaking any laws, or you may see an opportunity where you won't get caught or are willing to risk that no one will see you by acting natural... like it is something you should be doing or were supposed to be there taking care of this or that. The van might work as good cover for this (maintenance activities could be perceived and one wouldn't give it a second thought).

This is just one of my maps of possible locations. What locations have others come up with? It would be interesting to see what everyone has come up with.

I really really like this... Ok can you make a map and let everyone that has a place of interest mark it.... or we could just tell you and you could mark it for us,

I remember the Sheriff Office doing a map in Adji's Case and didnt we have a map in Hailey Dunns case....

We can post a reason why it might be a good spot like its a possible route taken or time thing or no comment until more infor surfaces.

Can you post your link again to the map?

TIA

I think that this would be a fantastic idea to have a map just devoted to the areas that we feel should be searched. Then, if searches are actually completed at the suggested areas, they can be added to TexasLil's map, or something like that.

I hope one of you two or someone else will do it!

By the way, here's the link to the property records search on the tax appraiser's site (I called it "tax assessor" before, sorry). From this search, you can look at the overhead survey photographs of properties from different angles. If I remember correctly, the shots of Carter Glen were taken in 2009.

I've made a copy of my original map and we can use this one to also place areas to search. I left all our other locations on the map so we can see the suggested search areas relative to other key locations. I'll start adding the suggested search locations and mark them with a :rocker:!

Just kidding. I'll try to find a unique icon that's easy to see. Any suggestions?

I'd like to briefly discuss cell phone pings. I've been on a lot of mp searches and learned a little about pings. Not sure if it's all correct or not. What I got out of what I learned was that pings are not exact locations. And if a cell phone has GPS (which is different than a ping) .. that could give an exact location. I did a little research before typing this and found that Hinkey Meter had something. Breathlife21 and TexasLil are mentioned. I think they are reading at this time.

People have been posting a lot lately .. at least on the last two threads .. about pings at exact locations. Would you two care to weigh in on this? Anyone else too. I'd like this clarified if possible. TIA!

How come when I put in his address, it shows a different bldg than where y'all have been saying he lives?

I've been lurking since i joined. This case and the Sky Metalwala case have me completely beside myself wondering how people can just "vanish". I just wanted to tell you guys that you are amazing sleuthers, and that i pray for answers for their family and friends. I have no doubt that you guys will be there until questions are answered by those responsible.

There is an alternate route to the south to get from Jrs to Srs which I attached a picture with route in red. This would keep you off of the 528 Toll road and the speed limit on sand lake rd is I believe 50 mph. This would match up somewhat with the sighting, crimeline tip, and possibly the search at Chaucer Ln.

You have my route also except I have that one as the return route from Parents home to the condo

Snipped for space.

Pias, can you help me with specifically where this is at?

TIA

I'm not very sure which icons are available on the map so I'll wait for others to help out with suggestions.

I am wondering if we can have maybe 3 categories of search icons on map

1. SEARCHED BY LE OR FAMILY
2. POSSIBLY SEARCHED (I am thinking of when locals such as Sparky sees what appears to be a private search going on, like the one on 520 & E Colonial just this week
3. SHOULD BE SEARCHED DUE TO WS THEORY

does that sound worthwhile?

OK the suggested search map is started. I've added all of Pias locations. If you want an area added please note the closest intersection and describe the area and, if you want, why you think it might be relative.

TIA

I can definitely do that if someone has good notes or can tell me which of the searches were by LE and family.

You know, audie, that happened to me too. Not sure the right way to do it, because I'm definitely a newbie with that site myself. I just clicked the pictures over to where I know Dale's condo is. But there must be an easier way! Hopefully someone more learned with that site can give some pointers!

You can add Brevard Co and Orange Co. line at 528, Wedgefield, and the triangle at 520 and E. Colonial.

BTW I don't remember who asked several threads back about the "Waste Land" on E Colonial, but that's just it "Wasteland" not buildable property, it's not a landfill.

Oh and you can add the area right next to Dale's condo across from Walmart on S. Goldenrod.

Thanks so much for doing this!

I think it just does it. It's does it to me every time I go there.

Me too! They have issues with their mapping in some of the newer subdivisions I think. This condo community was done in phases and I don't know how the unit numbers were assigned but they seem unusually numbered to me.

We have a poster and I'm sorry I don't remember who it was, works for a cell co. They went in depth about the pings.

I'm hoping they are reading and can weigh in or someone else remembers who it is so we can find their posts.

I thought the pings were in a 3-5 mile radius of the tower in any direction.

ETA OK I found it for you post 657

I don't know how to do the fancy maps like some of you.:maddening:

I added some additional points that I seen I had not actually put a marker on even tho I had referenced them... forgot when I was sharing, I needed to mark better.

I also added a couple points such as where the phone was found, the Sr property on W. Church, etc... I wanted to try to get the blue lines around some of my areas of interest. Bay lake (wooded area by nela Ave bridge) will not allow me to place a marker, but those woods there have interested me since the beginning.

This isn't as much of a 3D driving map. :floorlaugh:It will have you going all over the place cuz I'm not good at this map sharing yet.

This is my map for THIS area only. Maybe somebody could help me tag like texaslil's map with that text area to the side so it would make more sense.

This is a points of interest map only
