How do we know via PC that he cheated via Craig's list? I don't remember anything about women and craigs list coming up on People's Court.

This is from the transcript that was done for us by our poster Ingra1327 (thanks again Ingra)

MP: For the 5 years that we were together I could probably rattle off seven girls, found in the house, emails, pictures, text messages, craigslist ads,

DS: Two, two while we were broken up

MP: He's cheated on me constantly and I've always tried to keep it together for the kids and would forgive and forgive and this was the final straw. And when you're ready to hear, obviously, my side, and let him finish, I'll tell you what happened.

Yes Pias. That was my point! TO SOLVE THIS: we need to look at who had motive, opportunity, and means to carry this out. We know from MSM, Dale was on CRAIG'S LIST talking with MEN and women. We know via PC, he cheated on Michelle with women via CRAIG'S LIST. SO if you put 2 +2 together, it's not a stretch to say maybe Dale was also meeting men. DS thrives on his fun, partying, woman loving persona. To have someone know anything that jeopardizes that image, could be a motive.

Well if we are going to go by the link that states he was talking to men and women via CL then I guess he has no criminal record either. Also it could have been that he was buying stuff off Craigslist and the person selling the item was a guy. The reporter could have gotten his information wrong or could have said it like that for a little sensationalism.

I love the attention to details this community brings in. We may have different opinions. We may not all agree, but we're all adults and have one focus "to find the truth"! To quote MN, "I’ve got to tell you they’ve done work that is almost second to none that I’ve seen as far as the amount of work that has been put into this." He says this about OPD, but IMO this also applies to fellow WSers on this fine board of ours!

Thank you for this, hon3yb33, you said this better than I could, and I agree completely. There are posts here that, imo, are at least borderline homophobic in tone if not in actual words. It's in the kind of "eyeroll" of suggestion that Dale might be gay or bi and that this is somehow telling of his character.

It's like some of you are implicating all people who are gay by the way you phrase things. I too have many, many gay friends, and advocate for equal rights including marriage rights for everyone. The problem is NOT with people who happen to be gay, the problem is with the homophobes who sneer and belittle people because of it.

As always, this is all JMO, but I'm glad that I'm not the only one who feels the way I do.

While I happen to agree, that as long as you are an adult, it doesn't matter who the OTHER adult is... but some people internalize their feelings because they fear losing friends because of their sexual preferences... and when you like EVERYBODY... well then, that can set a lot of friends off, for example, or being ridiculed or unaccepted by peers who they have known for years... (why change their perception of you, a don't ask- don't tell policy comes to mind, seems then you couple that with someone who seems to be surrounded by more friends than the average joe... I'm not saying he is or isn't. What I am saying is, is or isn't he? And could THAT be playing an overlooked factor...

I don't write the rules, I just examine the history of homosexual/bi-sexual statistics that say it's not just JMO.. and a little something to back it...

http://www.examiner.com/bisexuality...all-we-need-the-craigslist-killer-is-bisexual

just a quick example....

I wonder if there are any possible parallels/similarities....

And the email that Michelle Parker supposedly sent to one of her friends suggesting that Dale Smith was not physically abusive towards her at all could have been sent from anyone, including DALE... how you gonna analyze the handwriting on an email? There is no proof Michelle wrote that... just that it came from her email.... To lie, is not to confide. Therefore, the purpose or motive? (of the email would alternatively be what????) For a friend of Michelle's to step forward and help the accused seems a bit like an oxymoron to me...JMO

I'm not quite sure why you quoted me or what this has to do with what I said. I'm not even sure what you are talking about....

This is all IMO, since I am in no way, shape, or form an expert.

I'm not saying there are no gay people, or bi, that also happen to be bad people. I'm not denying that there could be instances where someone is warped by being deeply closeted, and acts out with violence. But I will maintain that in such an instance, it's not the sexual preference that is the source of the violence. We know that some people respond to a wide variety of environmental and genetic factors with violence, whether it be something learned in childhood, or brain chemistry, or other factors.

Homosexuality in murderers is, in my opinion, a "man bites dog" story. Movies and TV have promoted the idea ad nauseum, the news media jumps at it to sell their product, etc. I'm not advocating that it not be reported, but that the stories are out of proportion to reality.

I myself do feel that DS II may have acted out of an explosive, uncontrollable anger. Sure, maybe it was what some of you are suggesting here that prompted it. But there are several other reasons that, imo, are more viable. Do we really need to pull out the bisexuality card to demonstrate why he might have lost his temper or even planned a murder?

First time DS cheated on Michelle should have been her clue to leave the loser and find someone else. Kids or no Kids, she should have been gone the first time. I think the fact that she stayed proved to be her downfall.

and she's more than likely dead at the hands of this creep. This is sad all around.

One of the angles from this report was that LE was looking at his "relationships" with both men and women on Craig's List. Regarding the criminal record: The reporter never states Dale didn't have a record. If you go back and look at 6:19 of the video, he simply states that Dale does not have a record (that they can find). The fact that he has a record and we can now find it doesn't dispute that Dale may have been having relations with men and women he met on Craig's List.

Michelle mentions "Craig's List Advertisements". This could mean personals or escorts. But clearly the focus was on relationships and not items being bought or sold. IMO someone else suggested that Michelle was a "known escort". What if this person was covering for Dale being the escort or at least working for an escort service? That is what I'm getting at. If Michelle discovered this and Dale knew, could this be why she disappeared?

sorry hon3yb33. I can't go back in to highlight... but it was just your 'could have beens'... I was just adding more 'could have beens,' only probably in Michelle's defense... ;)

Its only my opinion but all my gay friends are the nicest people you would ever met...I just don't see him being gay maybe bisexual . Again that is stereotyping but in a nice way... LOL

Now Im having visions of DS2 in a cowboy hat doing a chippendale act:floorlaugh:

Being in the Calender as Mr. December probably was a blast to his ego.

I see issues with Him and Michelle over...... money, control, sex, control, money,

Nowhere in my post did I say we can't rule him out as a stripper..... but we also can't confirm it. I was simply making the comment on how we read things the way we want to because BigCityLightsGrl did not say he was a stripper she was simply saying he hardly wears a shirt so does that make him a stripper. I'm not at all sure what his sexuality has to do with finding Michelle which is why I thought everyone was here for. If you could explain I would appreciate it. Also I've been involved in the gay community for quite some time advocating for equal rights for marriage and so forth and I have not heard of that name specifically being popular in "homosexual circles" so that IMO is nothing but stereotyping which is really offensive to me.

Many here might find the term 'homophobe' extremely stereotypical and offensive as well (at least I sense an eye-roll in that label). Applying labels to people is simultaneously belittling and stereotypical. (Eg. If someone doesn't think smoking is a healthy lifestyle choice, should we call them a smokophobe? a cancer-ophobe? And if I happen to be the smoker here, how does someone's belittling my choice by name-calling truly substantiate their own conviction? It doesn't; it just makes the name-caller sound catty.) Labeling or broadbrushing like this is a black-or-white way of thinking that's probably not an accurate reflection of how most people think in this society. Labeling people is usually more a reflection of emotional bias or agenda than objective truth.

There are many people who may hold the conviction that the gay lifestyle is an unhealthy lifestyle, while simultaneously believing 'live and let live'--and who do not 'fear' gays living in their community, and who even have friendships with gays while still holding that private conviction. If so, 'homophobe' is derogatory as well as inaccurate in describing these folks.

Just food for thought... *end off-topic*

this is supposed to be about Michelle, and leaving no stone unturned. Not about casting them at one another. What happens when you turn over a stone? It sees new light. That is what I thought we were looking for here. There is no limitations to what motivates a person to do harm against another. Up to and including ALL THINGS. For us to turn our backs on ANY stone, just because what looks to be under it is ugly, then what justice do we serve Michelle??????? Who is this about, after all? Michelle and Justice, or hiding ugly truths, or denying Michelle because we are afraid to look...? I am sorry, but I will not dishonor her in that way and stop looking when it doesn't suit me or isn't pretty.
