Interesting info on email hacking. MOO The only thing I'm having trouble with is why would anyone go to so much trouble to get rid of Michelle and then hack into Dale's accounts to make him look guilty? He doesn't need help looking guilty, he's already accomplished that all on his own. Unless there's some crazy conspiracy, vendetta thing we all aren't aware of...MOOMOOMOO

Well I COULD SEE a lot of people who hate Jr for one reason or another.... Maybe even based on JRs criminal record with drugs and his Dad recently getting busted for operating a lab in his home....Was it meth? I forget...

Maybe they owe some people money? Who knows? But even if the Smiths have some drug debts or someone out to get them, I doubt those owed money would try to FRAME Jr.... He has a long enough history of abusing drugs and women, like you said so no one needs to do ANYTHING to make him look guilty. IMO Dale's actions accomplish the guilt part without even considering Buck Fuddy. Buck is just the icing on the cake...showing how vindictive and cruel of a person Dale really is. How does he live with himself is the only question I wonder. MOO

no, he had a few personal marijuana plants---

Oh ya? Would that be for 'personal use' or 'personal income?' :floorlaugh:

I would have cut my plants down and moved them, too, except for a couple, since they could only slap me for that, when I learned my son, who has violent tendencies, was the last one known to see someone who is now missing :floorlaugh: Why get rid of all of them? You know. Just in case the missing person shows up. I'd sure hate to see all them plants go to waste just cuz I got a little nervous... which is why I would need to keep a couple... to, you know, have a little somethin to chill out on, just in case, you know, the missing person stayed missing.

elaborate hydroponic system or does he have land we don't know about?

  • #685
With all the care and concern the Smith's showed, they probably just scolded Jr for not having waited until after harvest. MOO

I respect your theory, and can admit, its as plausible as any, but personally don't believe he had a trafficking operation. I think hes just an old burnout who happens to have a son shiftier than his mind can process. I see DSjr as a speed/pill/exctasy user myself. Just MOO too.

  • #687
The Smith's certainly wouldn't let their son get away with murder if they knew he did it. Would they? I mean, Jr hasn't exactly done the family proud through the years.

Either that, or maybe Jr is just a chip off the old block, and there are skeleton's in Sr's closet, too. You know, the type dead people leave behind. MOO

Wow! Thanks....I figured with the big FBI raid that was done and the big arrest, it would have been more than a few pot plants...I thought Jr was into meth for some reason...but -after looking back over his lengthy arrest record, it seems like he has more of a problem with alcohol, pot and ecstasy...didn't someone mention he was in AA or something? Maybe trying to quit? but IMO he is seen double fisting it at the Star Wars parties he goes to... So maybe he tried to quit but realized when he's sober he can't live with who he is and what he did to Michelle MOO

Is a person usually charged with "SELL/MANUFACTURE/DELIVER CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE" for just having a "few personal marijuana plants"? Strange.

From my experience here in Ohio, KY and Indiana.....

Yes, growing 2 plants falls under manufacturing. Owning a scale with those plants gets you distribution here. I also am speculating that charge he received will be plead down to a different charge, if it ever makes it to court.

FL law:

The delivery of 20 grams or less of marijuana for no consideration is a misdemeanor and is punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. Sale, delivery or cultivation of any other amount up to 25 pounds is a felony and punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.

why they charged him as high as possible is a complete scare tactic (which would work on me, may I add:)

Sale, delivery or cultivation of greater than 25 pounds is considered trafficking, and all trafficking offenses have mandatory minimum sentences. For less than 2,000 pounds or less than 2,000 plants, there is a mandatory minimum sentence of three years and a fine of $25,000. For less than 10,000 pounds or less than 10,000 plants there is a mandatory minimum sentence of seven years and a fine of $50,000. For 10,000 pounds or 10,000 plants or greater, the mandatory minimum sentence is 15 years in prison and a fine of $200,000.

FL has stricter laws than Ohio, because of Mandatory sentencing.

I sure hope they pin Sr with the maximum sentence for the drug charge. IMO I believe SR has refused to help in the investigation....I still think he helped Dale with the coverup and most likely he and Dale Jr went to take care of business shortly after Dale established his phony alibi at Rose Blvd....IMO I can't believe what a DUMP that place is over there on Rose. Every time I'm in that area, I can't lock the doors fast enough...When I pulled into the church down the road, I felt like I might get car jacked...just saying not a very good area...

I was unaware Dale Sr had refused to help in the investigation.

Even non-MM states aren't pursuing cases like this.

Can't know for sure, but IMO based on his interactions with the media and others, he doesn't seem too helpful...The Smiths never once offered to help Michelle's family with anything AFTER Michelle went missing JMO. That is pretty telling in itself as to how helpful they have been in looking for Michelle. IMO they know exactly where she is...

They can only help if they know something. What can you do if you know nothing?

They were exes so I wouldn't think they would offer Michelles family anything. Not to mention how poor and ghetto everyone says they are, and as upper class as Michelles family is--what could they offer? In their warped minds, they probably believe they are the ones who deserve help because they now are supporting two children 100% of the time.

I do not think they know where she is, but I think they know their son was involved and don't wanna know anything else.

So you think Sr and Dale's mom have no info? I disagree there....I believe they know EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! JMO Why did they cover for him and provide an alibi? If he is so innocent, why didn't he answer his phone while others were sick to death trying to find Michelle? Do you believe Dale was at Rose Blvd from 4:30-8 or 9? TIA

Who says they are poor? DS sr owns multiple properties, a boat, his own business, multiple cars...I see hummers, there is a corvette in one of the pictures. If that's poor sign me up for the poorhouse.

Yet he has a court appointed attorney. Do courts do that even if you're not indigent? I'm asking because I honestly don't know.

I wasn't aware those properties or vehicles were paid off... I also wonder why they live in such a seedy part of town if not poor, or why their adult daughter still resides with them. So I stand corrected, they are just as affluent in the community as Michelles parents and Dale Sr could have been a major cultivator that covered it up. Maybe Michelle was about to tell on Dales dad (even though I have never myself heard gossip about them being pot suppliers) and they totally helped with the plan..maybe his accomplice is a neighbor... but I am not a fan of threatening people with obscene law enforcement as a form of coercion. If the guy had 2 plants then he had two plants--I can't respectfully say, maybe he destroyed a meth lab too.

Court appointed attorneys are for those who cannot afford to represent themselves. I believe what was on his W-2's in 2011 is the deciding factor. I don't recall Dale Sr or Jr working anywhere, IfSr is living on SSi or such, he is guaranteed to fall in that category.
