Sparky, I'm reading back & trying to catch up before running out again. Thank you for editing his name. :)

There seem to be people that personally know Michelle on here. Does anyone happen to know the route she'd normally take to go back home after dropping her children off to Dale?

Hey they are just a couple of young kids. I doubt they really understand what it means when they hear things like your daddy killed your mommy or do they?

Kids understand way more than most adults ever give them credit for and I am sure they understood a great deal about their father before we ever heard of Michelle through the media or otherwise.

When you are raised witnessing domestic violence and aggression you never forget it, and you remember things from an extremely young age because of the trauma it causes.

It also makes you hypervigilant and very in tune to the darkness and danger in others.

My heart breaks for these children. They lost so much in one day and their entire existence has been turned upside down. So much has been taken from them and now their father continues to deepen the wound by keeping them away from their grandmother.

The selfishness is unbelievable yet speaks to the control issues of a classic abuser. Sad but not surprising.

IMO Agreed ... who would not want their children to be around people who say you are a murderer? If this was not so tragic it would be funny.

In the beginning of this tragedy, Dale had the family's full support. They never accused him, they publicly supported him. And he still kept the kids away from their brother, grandmother and aunt.

I spent an hour or two yesterday trying to find that source too. I clearly remember reading about it months ago, and I remember an explanation coming from the brother, saying it was really him looking for a quick ride, but now I cannot find it anywhere. I also remember an interview with the sister talking about the older son texting his mom to say he was home from school and receiving no reply. I can't find that anymore either.

Thanks, Katy :-). I'm sure it's been reported somewhere, I vaguely remember it myself. But I was looking at a timeline on another site and it said that Dustin's "where are you?" text was a result of MP's oldest son having called at 3:30pm looking for his mom (can't find a news source for that, either). But it gave the impression that the family were looking for Michelle much earlier. And I knew that was wrong, according to Lauren's statements.

Then it occurred to me that I've never actually seen a link to the story that Dustin was looking for a ride, so I went hunting for the source. I still can't find it. Not that it's a huge deal or anything, because I really don't doubt that Dustin was looking for a ride when he texted MP. I just like to have links. :-) Thanks again, I will keep looking.

And how do you know Dale is keeping the kids from their extended family? Because one party of this dispute says so? And if true, why? What happened? What transpired between the parties here to cause this to happen?

What happened? Ummm....Dale killed their daughter.

And it is not only the family that says there is a problem with trying to see the twins. The attorneys admitted the problem on tv when they said they were trying to come to a resolution on the issue.

One thing is for sure. There are no facts in this case that Dale "did it" if so he would be in jail.

Not true. It took Jason Young three years to be arrested for the murder of Michelle Young. LE was patient and methodical and they got him. The same thing is happening for Michelle. LE will get Dale and I can't wait for him to rot in jail. IMO

Please state your facts implicating Dale in Michelle's murder.

I agree the kids will some day find out that daddy killed mommy...when they do it will be a sad day. IMO Dale should maybe take a break from FL if he needs a "fresh start" and leave the children with the grandparents. That's just my unbiased opinion!

No,I would not leave my kids with the grandparents and neither should Dale IMO

I don't need too!! It is my opinion and based on his history of violence and all that I have read about this case and many others that are so similar to me it is obvious. If he didn't do it than I would say I am wrong but I highly doubt I would ever have to say that. IMO he is text book. I think that the judge who gave him custody is wrong but the same thing happened with Jason Young.

And I believe it was 9 or 10 years before Perry March was arrested for the murder of his wife, Janet. But Perry was convicted and is currently serving fifty-some-odd years in a Tennessee prison. Oh, and the way they ultimately got him was that his father, who had assisted with the clean-up, finally ratted him out! So I have faith that whomever made Michelle disappear (and IMO it's Dale) will be brought to justice eventually. I just hope it doesn't take years.

How would you define "liberal" visitation? Certainly more than every other month for YS and possibly never for BP. How is that opinion? Either he allowed the twinners to see their grandparents frequently or he didn't...how do we know there was a dispute? EVEN if there WERE a dispute then he still has no RIGHT to change the agreement UNLESS Michelle's parents broke their end of the bargain.

For example if the agreement said Dale must allow liberal visitation and her parents must not discuss Dale's involvement publicly or this agreement is null and void. Not saying that is the case but just using an example. If there were some sort of stipulations in their contract and the parents violated the agreement Dale has every right to enforce what they agreed to. Short of a scenario like that he needs to "man up" and uphold his end of the AGREEMENT! JMO

As I said I don't know what kind of visitation arrangements they had and why the changed (if they did).

I respectfully disagree! A great majority of us here believe we KNOW "what happened to Michelle Parker" and "who is responsible for it". His name is Dale Smith Jr. ALL the clues point to HIS involvement...If we want to find Michelle IMO we need to figure out HOW he did it and WHERE he hid her. Those last two variables are the ONLY mystery to me. JMO

Apparently the police does not think so since they have not charged Dale Smith with any crime.

bbm: I disagree...

they said at the last presser they are connecting the dots and that he, DS, is the only suspect

Can you post a link of this? If not please indicate it is your opinion and not a fact.

Yes those mythical "evidences" the police will come up with ...

Do you know for certain that the police will NOT come up with enough evidence to arrest Dale? If so, I'd love to know how you know this.

Cases that are resolved years after the initial investigation are extremely rare and statistically irrelevant. Unfortunately most crimes remain unsolved especially those that are not resolved relatively quickly.

It is impossible to prove a negative.

Hey Nurse, did they say only or prime? I think I recall only but can't say 100%. Thanks

iirc they said "only"

but I think the meaning would be the same (re: prime vs only)

They were very emphatic that he was the only suspect they were looking at.:moo:
