The phone being tossed away and particularly at that location is problematic when measured against everything else ... the perp seems to have been quite methodical in getting rid of the evidence, so why toss the cell? Why not just power it down? I know this is very significant in some way but how? I was surprised when they recovered the phone but not the body, I would have thought the two would be at the same location ... so maybe having evidence scattered in more the one location would have been preferable? But why? The phone contents didn't seem to be incriminating, so again, why toss it? If one tosses something one could be spotted, not much of a chance with such a small object yes, but still a chance ... if one is en route to dispose of the body why take a chance? So again, why toss it? And why that location where it would later be recovered? Why is the body so competently disposed of but not the cell? Did he keep the cell after having disposed of the body so as to answer possible texts messages to avoid suspicions? But the "Waterford" text was sent at 4:26pm not nearly enough time for the perp to have had a chance to disposed of the body ... so why is the body over there and the cell over here? Where is the connection? Where is the logic? This perp didn't keep the phone separate from the rest for entertainment reason or to fumble around to read MP's messages, even simply opening an archived message leaves a record of it, somewhere deep in the OS every file been accessed is recorded ... so why take such a chance? Nothing about this perp indicates he takes unnecessary chances ... no clues, no evidence, no body ... nothing, so why does it toss the cell there? Why doe it toss the cell at all in a seemingly case of carelessness? What is happening at that very moment that makes him toss the cell?
I really suspect the cell been tossed there indicates a change of plan that was arrived at after the cell was tossed, or is a glitch in the original plan, with the former been more likely then the latter, either way and regardless I think the cell in the water is very significant in some way, I just haven't figure out how.
