ITA! And my nit-picky self...goes to these phrases, "The mother of my children"..."my children need their mother."...This bothers me...and I do agree I am nitpicking...but still. It does. My kids...their mother...

I wonder what's the psychology behind referring to her that way, instead of saying "my ex"..what I'm guessing he may have normally called her..JMO

Just a thought:

Just because Dale was in prison at the time of Shannon's death, doesn't mean he couldn't have been involved. From what I've heard, he's not doing too bad financially, is that correct? Could he have had the means to hire someone to kill either Shannon or possibly Michelle? Anybody have any insight on this? Thanks! JMO.

I don't understand the need to investigate what Dale stated to other people regarding his wife's demise when Dale clearly had nothing to do with her death.

How is it clear he had nothing to do with her death? Respectfully, but, just because he was in prison doesn't mean he couldn't have arranged for her death to have been carried out by another...JMO.

<snipped for space>

Based on your theory, Dale leaves the Hummer in the parking lot, then he walks to his father's house. Now we have to add in that the police call him at some point and he has to return to the condo. What does he do then, have his father drive him back to the condo, and perhaps arrive at the same time the police are there and in his garage is his truck?

I've been thinking on this for a while. I think DS2 is the one who drove the hummer out the other exit and away from the condo (after concealing MP in his work van . .I wonder if LE has used the dogs on that van yet). I think he drove it straight to DS1's 0place where the decals were removed and DS1 followed him to the drop off place and then drove him home. DS1 might even be the one who disposed of her (sorry Sparky :-().

I need to think on this some more but my gut is screaming that DS2 is the one who drove it out of the complex' other exit to avoid the neighbors surviellance camera.

Having said that, I can't imagine what Michelle's family is going through. I'd be keeping the hope too, but it's a horrible point for them to be at knowing that she might not come home. I'm still looking everywhere I travel and as someone said earlier- Florida has so many (not sure what you call them) rain run off areas. They're basically holding ponds to contain water during heavy rain and they're EVERYWHERE. I know I'm slowing down and looking every time I pass them. :/

Man-made "retention ponds"..nearly every building has one! Even my condo complex has a few.

First and foremost she is the mother of his children so that comment makes sense to me. It could also show that he is not thinking of her any more in a romantic way.

Worked all around the area this week and didn't notice many fliers either. Specifically in, Winter Springs, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, & Lake Mary.

I saw a comment today on WKMG-TV's FB page that I found troubling. I don't have an opinion on it, sharing part of it below-

"This family seems to only worry about raising money all the time and being on TV. Raising money for kids who r not there custody is very questionable."

I took my LO's to the Light up Christmas thing at Crane's Roost in Altamonte Springs and saw people wearing FIND MICHELLE tee-shirts. I'm going back to work this week for the first time since I had my newest LO and will gladly put up flyers, I also work i Altamonte. I've seen flyers in shops and gas stations near where I live in the Sweetwater part of Longwood..

Thanks, that makes sense. I was just wondering if it was his way of distancing himself from her..

I've seen this commented on several times by a few posters. I guess I'm missing something here. I don't see why the way he says this stands out for any reason. What about it bothers you? I'm just trying to understand what it is about this wording that sends red flags up for some people.

ETA: I do, though, find it weird that his first reaction is to hop on facebook and make that post to his page. For me, that would be the last thing I'd be thinking at that particular time.

As soon as I read that FB comment by DSjr I thought "fake". I can't put my finger on it, but it seemed IMO to be something he wrote to make investigators think he was concerned about MP and to come across all innocent and worried.

Nothing new reported!

I just finished watching the rerun on my station here and her dad said something that totally caught me off guard. Her dad was on the show. He said that Michelle called him on Wed, left a msg and he called her back that day. That was the last time he spoke with her. Then Judge J asked him if the People's court episode had aired before or after he spoke with her and he said it aired on Wednesday before he spoke with her and she didn't even mention it. Then he repeated, "he spoke with her on Wednesday, the People's Court episode aired on Wed and she dropped off the kids to Dale on Thursday and that is the last time any one saw her."

I swear he said the episode aired on Wednesday. Is he mistaken?

Talina, I think he is mistaken, because the episode did air on Thursday.

If that's what he said, he's probably mistaken. All reports indicate the show aired the same day Michelle went missing which was Thursday Nov. 17th.

He got a voice mail message from her the day before. I didn't know they spoke though.

Police say Parker was last seen on Nov. 17, the same day an episode of "The People's Court" aired in which Parker and Smith argued over who was responsible for the cost of a missing $5,000 engagement ring.

Earlier this week, Parker's family released her final voicemail and a new batch of photos in the hope that someone would recognize the missing mother of three.

Parker left a nine-second message for her father on the day before she vanished, asking him to call her.

I thought he must have been mistaken but coming from her father, I was wondering. If he misspoke, he said it twice.

I just don't understand how such close people to the case can go on national media like this and get facts so wrong.

Don't they know they just keep us confused and backtracking when they do this to us? :floorlaugh:

Judge J should have corrected him . The poor man is probably confused and am sure he would've appreciated it.

here is his facebook post (and one thing does bother me about it...but I might be nit-picky): "Oh man, oh man, (expletive)! Michelle, the mother of my kids is missing, her mother called me said she never showed up to work after dropping the kids off with me. The police just came by and searched my whole house, this isn't good. My kids need their mother," he wrote in a Facebook post at 11:08 p.m.

Respectfully snipped...

What bothers me about this FB post is the last comment: 'My kids need their mother.". Because at that point the Hummer hadn't even been found abandoned and the kids were either there with him or at his dad's house and didn't need Michelle right then, at that moment I mean. So why, at that point, would he make it sound as if she wasn't coming back? Just my interpretation of his comment, of course. If it were me I'd have posted something like, "Where the h* is she? Anyone know?". Well, my interpretation and jmo.

IMO, the only way he could arrange for a "hit" would be via the phone at the prison or through the mail, of which, both are normally monitored and recorded.

The other day after the court hearing DS, Sr., was noted as getting into the passenger side of the vehicle and the female he was with drove the vehicle. It's possible DS, Sr. might not drive, perhaps no license due to something or another, or perhaps for eye sight issues, maybe seizures, etc., etc.

I agree. It seems too staged, as if he was trying too hard to come across as being concerned. The only thing I could see being posted at that early in the game, is him asking if anyone has seen her. I doubt I would have even announced that my house was searched, unless I was trying to make people believe I wasn't involved (because the police didn't find anything during the search). :twocents:

FWIW..I don't see anything suspicious about that fb post. He posted it at 11 pm or thereabouts. It may have just hit him then that this was serious. I recall in one of the shows, Lauren said when DS was told Michelle was missing by phone he said "oh ok". Perhaps, he didn't think anything of it until the cops showed up at his house and then he realized she was really "missing".

I think the post is neither here nor there. People will interpret it different ways. Being the prime suspect may lead to folks interpreting it differently than it was intended and that's understandable.
