"Coto was last seen Jan. 21 near the 8900 block of Northwest 77th Court in Tamarac and was reported missing days later by a family member."

"Days after the remains of a missing Tamarac man were discovered, his estranged wife and another man were charged in connection with his murder, authorities said Monday."

"Trinity Bownes, 31, and Brandon Jenkins, 29, face charges of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the death of 28-year-old Gianni Coto, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office."

MISSING: BSO Searches for Man From Tamarac


The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate 28-year-
old Gianni Coto missing from Tamarac.

According to detectives, Coto was last seen Saturday, Jan. 21, near the 8900 block of Northwest 77th Court in Tamarac. He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt and black pants. Coto was last seen driving his beige 1998 Toyota Avalon with a Florida tag of HYVJ15.

Coto is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Tragic Murder Mystery Solved: Two Suspects Arrested for Killing of Tamarac Resident
"The Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit and the Missing Persons Unit, in collaboration with several other law enforcement agencies, arrested two suspects in connection to the murder of 28- year-old Gianni Coto of Tamarac.


The body of the deceased was buried off State Road 60 in Indian River County, but with the assistance of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, detectives were able to locate and recover Coto’s remains on January 30.

The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy, which confirmed Coto’s death as a result of a stabbing."
