Isabella Tucci was charged with child neglect without great bodily harm after the incident that unfolded in Palm Coast on Monday, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

When deputies asked Tucci when was the last time the child had been fed, she referred to an open cereal box left on the kitchen floor and suggested he may have eaten the cereal but did not know for certain as she had been asleep.

She also mentioned that her child knew how to unlock and open doors, and despite her confirmation that it had been an ongoing issue, no actions had been taken to install childproof locks.

Upon searching the home, deputies found open containers of alcohol among food and garbage on the floors. No articles of clothing for the child were found in the child's bedroom.

Tucci shared that she recently tested positive for THC and alcohol a few days prior in a drug test, testing positive for Methadone upon a drug test on site.

Hoping the little one is away from that "home" and with county or city child professionals.
Glad the mom has ben charged with at least with child neglect, and hoping she will also be charged with having illegal drugs (assuming they are illegal) in the home -- it's certainly dangerous to have such anywhere close to a child, to say the least.
No clothing found in the home for the little one? Damm.

I read it as no clothing for the child in the child’s room so pictured a hoarding situation maybe. But no clothing whatsoever?! Please say these kids are now safe. MOO
