OMG in this weather, it is a miracle. I am praying very hard. I am praying that the others are out there with life jackets and the survivor can tell the coast guard where they are.

What is on Egmont Key? Any civilization at all? Is it heavily trafficked by beachgoers? I should probably know that, but just trying to figure out if it was possible they could be there and not be noticed yet.

Simular to Caladesi, lots of mangroves. State Park and I believe there is a ranger that lives out there. Light house.I am not sure if there is a ferry I have been out there by boat many times when I was a kid.

I hope Nick is doing alright. God knows what he has experienced in the last 48 hours. What a survivor, though. I hope he's not suffering too badly from exposure and dehydration. Hopefully he can point the CG toward his friends, and I hope that aspect of this didn't have a traumatic effect.

My BIL said that Nick is talking to the rescuers....he's being transported to Tampa Hospital.

It must have been extremely difficult to hold on to the boat with the wind and choppy waves. It is truely a miracle.
I am very happy for your family. Hoping that Nick can recover from this and that he can help the CG find the others.

Marquis myspace is marked private but there is a pic of him and his little girl, she is about the same age as my Pooky in the picture. It breaks my heart. I pray that they are all found safe.
