ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A death investigation is underway after skeletal remains were found in Orange County, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

On Thursday at 5 p.m., Orange County deputies responded to 7421 Curry Ford Road in reference to a report of skeletal remains being found on the property.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with identifying skeletal remains found more than a month ago.

On March 22, deputies found the remains of a man near the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Goldenrod Road. The body is believed to be that of a 5’9’’ man 40-60 years old with an old neck injury. The man may have been a transient, deputies said.
Authorities haven’t said how the man died. He was found with dark clothing and a red and white tent.

Anybody with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-8477. A reward of up to $5,000 may be available.
