Case History
A young child walking in the wooded area around his house discovered the victim's skeletal remains at the 1100 block of Dennis Avenue and N. Forsyth Road in Orlando.

An anthropological exam revealed that the victim suffered extensive injuries that were consistent with falling from a great height. The location where the male was found was in-line with flight patterns out of Orlando Executive Airport and Orlando International Airport. Its possible the male could have fallen from an aircraft.

The anthropological exam also revealed the skeleton was particularly robust for a male of this age noting characteristics that were consistent with an occupation of a laborer.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to smuggle himself onto an outbound flight (unless he was a fugitive from the law), and no doubt an airport ground or other worker going missing from the airport would have been reported.

Ordinarily I'd suggest it's more likely he was a stowaway on an inbound flight from the Caribbean or somewhere like Brazil, and that his body fell when the landing gear was lowered for landing. This is something we've seen in Europe with stoaways, usually from Africa, though they have usually frozen to death early in the flight. Occassionally their bodies are found frozen in the landing gear compartment after landing. However the fact that he was wearing shoes bought in the US makes that less likely.

There was an unsolved mysteries from several years back....from its original run, that featured a similar case. The person seemingly ran out of nowhere onto the tarmac and clung to a plane (small Cessna type) as it was taking off. He was finally identified in an update and the motive was unclear but he did have severe mental illness

Found him! His name was Brian Duecker a 28 year old marathon runner that suffered from schizophrenia. He was missing for 4 days from Ohio when he jumped on a plane in Kentucky in Sept of 1991.

Maybe our doe has a similar story as Brian.

Melmoth, that's a good point, he could be a fugitive. He is pretty young, but I recently posted a thread on an a young fugitive that at only 18 years old already molested five young girls. I wonder of they checked failure to appears/fugitive from justice cases during that time period. Since if that's the case, he would be trying to flee the area...desperately, maybe it was local?

I found someone missing from 1994 (doe's death was 2 years prior to discovery).

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1048dmfl.html

Only thing is the age has to be wrong, which happens sometimes (Andrea Kuiper comes to mind)

Bhagwan Lall
Missing since June 4, 1994 from Loxahatchee, Palm Beach County, Florida.
Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics
Date Of Birth: December 27, 1962 Age at Time of Disappearance: 31 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'8"; 165 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Black male. Black hair; brown eyes.
AKA: Moses

Lall and his aunt mysteriously were discovered missing from their exotic bird ranch in June 1994. Owning a bird ranch would make sense to the discovery of the skeleton being robust (possible a laborer). And the circumstances of falling out of a plane make more sense if the person was kidnapped and thrown out. There is an airport in Palm Beach county where he went missing and Orlando is a 2 1/2 hour drive from there.

Bumping. What a weird case.

I remembered hearing on the news about a stowaway surviving a trip to the US....He was from DR...

Here's the article ...

I remember watching a program about the exotic birds and the caretakers disappearing...It was quite the mystery...

They have at least 13-14 Payless shoe stores in the Dominican Republic (DR) ...I thought they were only in the US...

I checked NAMUS and I didn't see any new potential MPs...I agree with the post above...The UID is possibly from the Carribbean...He could've lived in Southern FL also...

  • #12
maybe he was thrown out of a smaller plane, a la scarface.

  • #13
His body was close to 2 airports...I've flown into both...The major Orlando airport and the smaller airport in Sanford...

Perhaps a smaller plane flew out of the Sanford airport...It wouldn't surprise me if he was thrown...

In my opinion, some Latinos resemble AA..specifically some Dominicans and Puerto Ricans I've seen...When I went to PR there were residents that looked AA but they were Puerto Rican...I wonder if a ME can tell the difference...He could also be Haitian...

Yeah, he could be Afro-Caribbean. He also had a US nickel on him, which was another reason I thought he was American or had at least been in the US for a while. Then again, he could also be Puerto Rican. I also thought Payless was only a US company, so that's good to know!

The closest possible matched I could find on NamUs:

1) Louis Adrian Burke (NamUs)

Louis was a freshman at UC Berkeley in fall of 1992. In late 1992, Louis begain exhibiting signs of mental instability and unusual behavior. Louis began some treatments with local physcian. In January of 1993, Louis' mother filed a MP report. A day later, Louis was located on the campus of UC Berkeley. Louis went missing again in February of 1993 and was located in the state of Louisiana. Louis was brought home by his parents. Louis' mother can't recall but she last saw Louis in the summer of 1993, when he exited her vehicle and walked away in the area of Middlefield Road/Oregan Expressway in the city of Palo Alto, Ca. According to police records, on 8/25/93, UC Berkeley PD responded to a suspicious person call and detained Louis for loitering. Louis was released at the scene. This is the last known contact for Louis' whereabouts. Since August of 1993, Louis has not been seen or heard from.

Age and height match. He went missing in California but as stated above he once somehow ended up in Louisiana. I wonder if his ‘mental instability’ may have caused him to do weird things like climb on an airplane.

2) Anthony Ray Lofston (NamUs)

Anthony was last seen in Terre Haute, IN on August 30, 1993. He told family members he was going to Indianapolis with a friend and never returned. It has not been confirmed that Anthony ever arrived in Indianpolis.

Age, height and location match.

Louis Adrian Burke seems like a good possible match...Since he is disabled I wonder if he receives SSI/disability....I was wondering how he would have the resources to get to Louisiana unless he's hitchhiking...

I found 3 possibilities....

The anthropologist mentioned a robust skeleton...Does that mean "big boned"???

Is it possible this UID was deceased from freezing and then fell from the plane?

This case is so unusual! I can’t imagine stuffing myself into the landing gear of an aircraft. Apparently it’s more common than I ever would have imagined.

Wouldn't most planes notice if something was opened enough for a body to fall out?
