It might be a long shot but could he be recently added Leslie Fistel? He ran away about a month before police’s first interaction with this John Doe.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Sometime around September of 1981, was involved in an argument with his mother, and then climbed out his bedroom window and has not been seen or heard from again. He was never reported missing prior to now. Leslie was 16 years old at the time of his disappearance.

I've wondered that too, if the police even picked up on his alias. Him being part of a religious group makes more sense to me. I was just thinking he may have just been Jewish. I'm going to ask my step-mother who is Jewish if she knows anything about Adam Kadmon.

But couldnt it be him? He would have been 34 when he died, a bit above estimated age but still possible. Only thing is the records show Adam registered in 1991. May never have been reported missing
