Circumstances of Recovery- Remains discovered in a wooded lot (126 Cedar Creek Cutoff Road) by an individual who purchased the lot. 100 feet away from the roadway, a nylon rope and an electrical cord were tied to a tree branch with hair attached to the rope. SKELETAL REMAINS FOUND BY RESIDENT

"There is no danger to the public. These remains have been in the elements for some time and will have to be sent for DNA analysis. At this time the sheriff's office has no missing persons reported in that area."

What do you make of this? Suicide or homicide?

Looks like suicide by hanging. Nobody found her despite the foul smell until her remains were shattered and transported by the elements and animals. Very sad.

Gina Ferraiolo?

"Circumstances of Disappearance She was last seen her around 2 p.m on November 23, 2021."

Here's more info on Gina:

'Every day, I pray that she will call me': Mom's disappearance in Daytona Beach still unsolved

"According to the police report, her fiancé went into the woods to look for her but couldn’t find her."

"According to the police report, he told police she began acting paranoid within the last week and a half before the disappearance."

"We don’t know about any addiction, or dependency but anything’s possible, I mean she’s been estranged for a year and a half and maybe even before that," said her father.

It's a 65 miles drive from where Gina was last seen to the address in Palatka. Did she meet with foul play? Was she suicidal?

There are houses where the remains were found, so I believe our Jane Doe was a local or knew the area well enough to know she wouldn't be "caught" by the surrounding neighbours. Same if this was a homicide. The person had to be a local or know the lot was vacant with zero chances of being seen.

We all have seen murders disguised as suicides before... Anything is possible in this case.

This was my sister Lea Sayre aka Lea Kennedy. There was a man close to her with motive who owns land in that area. Though she had severe mental, drug and life issues I doubt she did this to herself. We've been looking for her. I searched for missing persons all over Florida and didn't find this until someone who last saw her told me about this a few days ago. Missing persons reports HAD been filed, I don't know when.

This was my sister Lea Sayre aka Lea Kennedy. The investigation concluded it was most likely suicide. She had severe mental, drug and life issues but there were 2 men close to her that could have wanted this for different reason. We've been looking for her. I searched for missing persons all over Florida and didn't find this until someone who last saw her told me about this a few days ago. Atleast we have some closure. I had last heard of anyone speaking with her about 8 months prior to her body being found. It was common to not hear from her for months or even some years.

"In March 2025, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and District 23 Medical Examiner's Office submitted forensic evidence to Othram in The Woodlands, Texas to determine if advanced DNA testing could help identify the woman. Othram scientists successfully developed a DNA extract from the provided evidence and then used Forensic-Grade Genome Sequencing® to build a comprehensive DNA profile for the woman. Othram's in-house forensic genetic genealogy team used the profile in a genetic genealogy search to develop new investigative leads that were returned to law enforcement.

Using this new information, a follow-up investigation was conducted leading investigators to potential relatives of the woman. Reference DNA samples were collected from a relative and compared to the DNA profile of the unidentified woman. This investigation led to the positive identification of the woman, who is now known to be Lea Kennedy Sayre, who was 52 when she died. Foul play is not suspected in her case."

Lea's partner appears to have reported her missing in late 2022.
