*Felony Sounding Hearing (@ 9:30am ET) - FL – “Pillowcase Rapist” – 44 victims (May, 1981 to Feb. 1986, Miami to Deerfield Beach) - *Robert Eugene Koehler aka Robert Eugene Koeholer (22 @ time of 1st crime/60/now 61) – arrested (1/18/20) & held at Brevard County to await transfer to Miami-Dade County. Charged (1/21/20) & arraigned (2/11/20) with 1 count of aggravated kidnapping & 2 counts of sexual battery with weapon causing serious injuries. Plead not guilty. No bond.
Convicted sex offender for a sexual battery conviction in 1991. Familial DNA hit in CODIS (after his son was arrested).
Trial set to begin on 3/1/21.

Friday, February 4th:
*Felony Sounding Hearing (@ 9:05am ET) - FL – “Pillowcase Rapist” – 44 victims (May, 1981 to Feb. 1986, Miami to Deerfield Beach) - *Robert Eugene Koehler aka Robert Eugene Koeholer (22 @ time of 1st crime/60/now 62) – arrested (1/18/20) & held at Brevard County to await transfer to Miami-Dade County. Charged (1/21/20) & arraigned (2/11/20) with 1 count of aggravated kidnapping & 2 counts of sexual battery with weapon causing serious injuries. Plead not guilty. No bond.
Convicted sex offender for a sexual battery conviction in 1991. Familial DNA hit in CODIS (after his son was arrested).
Trial was set to begin on 11/15/21 continued on 2/14/22.

Floyd got a search warrant for Koehler's DNA and testing done by the sheriff's office crime lab found it matched the evidence in the cases she was investigating, she said.

Detectives worked with prosecutors to bring six sexual assault charges against Koehler.

Doesn't look like it in court site. I also updated my notes as he had a few updates since I looked last. Also his trial starts on 6/21/22.
