I believe this is going to be really bad if they do not find them soon. I have shared this story on my facebook because I think the key is getting HIS face out there.

Madison called her aunt on Nov. 12 and begged her "to come to Kentucky and take her away from her abusive husband." Rachel Madison arrived in Ormond-by-the-Sea on Nov. 16.

Getting to Florida was not easy for Rachel Madison. She and her aunt, who traveled from Florida, agreed to meet at a bookstore in Kentucky. But her husband found out and held her hostage in the vehicle driving her around while armed.

When Rachel Madison asked to use the restroom, her husband put her out on the roadside and when she tried to escape, he fired a .45-caliber bullet at her.

Rachel Madison eventually convinced her husband to let her use the bathroom at a Wal-Mart and that's when her aunt, who was on the telephone with her, urged her to seek security and call the police. She was able to escape with her aunt to Florida.

more info:

Madison filed a police report on Nov. 14 after she said she was held against her will by Jarvis Madison. The two had been living at a hotel in Louisville.

“She'd indicated that she wanted to move back to Maine where she had family and spent some time growing up, and her husband agreed to drive her there.” Indiana State Police say something changed when they got in the car. “They were leaving a hotel to drive to Maine. Once they got in the car, he produced a handgun and told her she couldn't get out of the car and that he would shoot her if she tried to. Rachael Madison then tried to escape the car somewhere along I-64, but her husband shot at her and missed.

The pair went to the Wal-Mart on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville. That’s when Mull says she was able to run away from her husband. “She's been threatened with knives and guns, and she was tired of it,” Rachael Madison’s Aunt said. ”She wanted to get away. We made a plan.”

Her aunt picked her up in Clarksville and drove her down to Ormond Beach. That’s where she stayed until Sunday. “She took off to run on the beach and never came home,” her aunt said.

There are so many places mentioned in this case I feel like we need a map. Anyone feel like tackling that? Maybe looking at all the places they had been before would show where he is likely to take her.

Would it get me in trouble if I posted a link to this thread over on the SP thread. This thread could really use some attention and I think some of very devoted WSers could use a break and bring their much needed skills over here. What do you think?

I don't think it would get you in trouble necessarily but I think the post would be buried by several pages and not many would see it. Thanks for thinking of it though. It's a shame this thread is not getting more attention.

Yes I think if he has her the key is to get the news story around social media as much as possible. I'm so scared for her.

officials in Indiana obtained a warrant Monday for Jarvis Madison's arrest on a criminal confinement charge.

Rachel Madison has been in Florida since Nov. 16. Authorities say her husband had been calling relatives inquiring about his wife's whereabouts and had even threatened to kill her aunt for hiding her.

Since there is a warrant out for him and LE suspects he has her, I think we are allowed to sleuth him. I tried but I'm not good at finding social media. Can anyone find social media or any old arrest records for Jarvis? Anything to get more info on where they might be heading.

Probably not much of a social media trail at his age. I am a little confused at where he has lived. I hope the police are looking at all the paths north from FL. I have some time off this weekend , so I will start searching tomorrow.

One of the articles above says they were homeless and lived out of hotels in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. And Rachel has family in Florida (her Aunt's house she disappeared from) and also has family in Maine--she wanted to go back to her family in Maine and they were arguing about it.

People magazine picked up the case; interesting comments underneath the article about a vehicle seen in other jogger's disappearances.

http://people.com/crime/woman-disap...ieve-estranged-husband-may-have-abducted-her/

Well, on the one hand the comment is right--I hope LE is not only focusing on the husband but I think the fact that the husband has a violent past history and also called her right before she went missing is a good indication he might have her. They need to find him to verify that and see if he can prove he didn't go to Florida. He is homeless but he has a car and a phone. Would not take much for him to go get her.

2 arrests in Kentucky, 2013 and 2014. 1 was a bench warrant. I will try and link. If it doesnt work you can go to Oldham police dept in Kentucky and search.
