I agree. Jarvis was possive and controlling. His ego got hurt when she left him and he was intent on killing her. His Jesus talk in court makes me think that he is going to attempt a fake insanity defense. He's already confessed.

Just wanted to add.
I'm so sorry Rachel that he wouldn't let you go. You should have been able to choose the life you wanted to live here but instead he chose to kill you.
I hope your children come to know how brave you were and it was best to keep them away as this person would have most likely began to control them and their lives.
May they always know and never forget that their mom is an Angel watching over them.

The girlfriend of an Indiana man accused of kidnapping his estranged wife while she jogged on the beach in Ormond-by-the-Sea, and later killing her, will spend the next seven years in prison, federal officials said on Tuesday.

Belenda Sandy, 57, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, who had a romantic relationship with the accused kidnapper, Jarvis Wayne Madison, concealed the whereabouts of Madison when an FBI agent interviewed her, federal prosecutors said.

Sandy pleaded to obstruction of justice on May 26, 2017.

Jarvis Madison, who was arrested in Kentucky, is charged with kidnapping that resulted in a death, interstate domestic violence and interstate stalking. He is set to go to trial in March.

It seems that Jarvis Madison case will be a federal death penalty case, according to The Washington Post:

The first case Sessions decided warranted the death penalty involves charges against Jarvis Wayne Madison, who has been accused of kidnapping, kidnapping that resulted in death, and interstate domestic violence. Authorities said Madison kidnapped his estranged wife while she was going for a run in Ormand Beach, Fla., where she had gone to get away from her husband after he had also taken her captive in Indiana.

The Justice Dept. is seeking its first federal death sentences under Sessions and expects more to follow
