I'm local. Why do you think moving to Lantana is a bad idea? She has to live somewhere... Lantana isn't that bad. If she left early, she might avoid the stigma of finding a place after an eviction. Or, she took what she could get knowing the eviction would limit her choices.

I agree, and certainly not judging. Simply stating the crime rates of that particular area/street she lived on are not great. The stress must have been overwhelming for her. Anxiety and stress can lead people into all sorts of unwanted situations and may have something to do with her disappearance. I apologize to you, I should have shown a bit more empathy. I say empathy because I understand it completely, as I have been in that exact same predicament before.

I should mention that I'm very local as well. Less than 1 mile from where she was last seen. So no judgment here.

Spokesperson with PBSO, Teri Barbera, said deputies were following up on an investigative lead that led them to Lantana, however, the agency found nothing.

Complex case, a well-loved woman who was struggling hard. My hope is that LE finds direction and the family is granted some peace.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies searched an area near Hypoluxo Road and Eastview Drive on Wednesday.

Sara was last seen near the intersection walking her dog last October.
LE confirmed that the search did not produce any new evidence.
