IMO this will be similar to the Robert Tellus trial. Prosecution shows video/audio and the defense will be a narrative testimony from Boone. Short and guilty. MOO

Most prosecution cases begin with getting to know the victim but so far, have not seen that here. I wonder why? Is his past that bad? All I know about Jorge is that he was previously married, divorced at the time, father of 3 children.

Court TV finally realizing that the loud "rumbling" could have been from SB pushing the suitcase down the stairs.
Well, duh :P
WS - 1, CTV - 0
Also, I liked the neighbor guy. I would have lost my danged mind living next door to those two. IMO.

I don't know how such cases usually unfold but in terms of JT as a person, his mother and other family members have spoken affectionately of him in interviews and he was in regular conversation with all his children, plus he had some employment. So there are people who could speak as to his character and personality. However, it's not JT on trial here for murder, it's SB, and establishing that her actions caused his death.

IIRC, his criminal record doesn't show anything bad in his past - I believe there was just one minor traffic ticket was the only thing that came up until he got into the relationship with SB and then there were police call outs. I think these issues will be mentioned in due course. JMO MOO

Re the noise at 10:30 pm approx according to both neighbours testimony, seems to me that SB could have whacked JT unconscious or dazed with the baseball bat and bundled him into the suitcase all upstairs and then pushed it down the stairs after. JMO

Her ex husband is on the stand. He seems remarkably normal.

I don't think Sarah has ever been.

Just my impression

He testified to Sarah's in consistency in pickups and parenting time. That she called him twice that morning.

That was about it. No cross.

SB’s ex-husband BB completed his testimony but is subject to recall, if necessary.

Why is Owens gaslighting the Judge. Judge says BB is released subject to recall and Owens says oh but as long as he can be recalled.

Playing the 911.

"My boyfriend is dead."

Noticing the Defense is trying to keep every witness for recall. Sigh.

I am disappointed! I was expecting fireworks.

Sarah is arguing with the 911 operator.

Operator wants her to do CPR, she doesn't want to. "He's purple".

Now she's arguing AND counting (imaginary chest compressions).

SB: this is horrific. What happened? We were playing.

She's quite versant while doing imaginary chest compression.

Owens moved himself FAR away from her during this call being played... looks quite distressed but SB doesn't

Defence trying to imply the witness fabricated a statement or suchlike is out of order IMO, witness needs his own lawyer present for things like this.

Dramatic tone with witnesses, implying they aren't credible.

People who have no reason to lie.
