I can only imagine, but I suspect it will involve a bunch of fabricated lies about Jorge threatening to kill Sarah when he got out of the suitcase or some such nonsense.

I can’t wait for the prosecutor to destroy her on cross.

I believe this is the gist of it - that SB is going to claim that JT stated something along the lines of 'when I get out of this case, I'm going to do x , y , z... ' at which point she felt so terrified she erm... went to bed and fell asleep... !?

I suspect the psychologist is going to state it is possible SB had 'dissociated' and then suffered narcolepsy due to the terror, fell asleep and had no memory of any of it due it was a different part of her psyche that did it. If this type of talk emerges, it will be doing a massive disservice to battered women and battered men and children and people with severe mental health problems IMO.

Neighbors have already destroyed her "it was a good day" story. They heard shouting and fighting and thumps loud enough to shake the walls, so it was NOT a good day up until the inevitable moments.

Oh right right right. It’s just so preposterous that I keep blocking it out of my mind as the new and improved defense.

As my name suggests, it is widely advised to not engage with the mental gymnastics of abusers and sociopaths. Best keep self safe IMO!

Yes @Kittybunny …. spot on. And if, if, SB gets on the stand…. IMO one key question to ask early: ‘in your video taped discussion with investigators, you mentioned it wasn’t intentional’ (IIRC)……. “What exactly do you mean by that?” “What was not intentional?” ….. and let it fly from there. Also ask her why she recorded those two videos? MOO

Owens has said a couple of times that the 11 minutes between videos is what matters, and it's what's key to the case. I'm not understanding his thinking here. What does he think happened during those 11 minutes that makes Sarah innocent?

Jorge miraculously got himself out of the suitcase, started threatening SB that he was going to kill her,SB feared for her life and told Jorge "you get back in that suitcase", Jorge obliged and SB left him in there even though he told her he couldn't breathe because she believed he would kill her if let out.

End of SB's tale and jury acquits SB. /s
Defense revealed it.

Was a fine day of board games, then the hiding (Owens says SB misunderstood how the game works -- guess maybe she thought you hide the person, then don't look for them? Restrain them so they can't seek you? I don't know, I thought everyone knew how to play.)

When she saw JT's fingers/hand coming out the zipper she had an attack of retrograde BSS, recalling his past violence when overly intoxicated, and them used the bat in self defense for previous acts of violence.

He's calling JT's hand the overt act which precipitated her self-defense.

I call BS.

I'm so looking forward to SB explaining to us all how 2 people play "hide & seek" when from the get-go the seeker knows where the hider is hiding.
Will she claim to have been drunk even though in the very beginning of her interrogation she claimed she wasn't drunk then at one point went on to blame alcohol, either for an action or not remembering something.
From what I gather, the husband was the seeker. He had 2 fingers outside the zip to allow himself to unzip and come find her after a period of time. She allegedly fell asleep while waiting and can't remember what happened after that. This is when she subconsciously woke up in a drunken state and BSS kicked in where part of her recording says:

The two-minute video found on Ms Boone’s phone allegedly shows the suitcase facing downward and her saying “for everything you’ve done to me. F*** you. Stupid,”
“I can’t f***ing breathe, seriously,” the boyfriend said, calling her name.
“Yeah, that’s what you do when you choke me,” she said.

Responding to Torres saying he couldn’t breathe, she said, “that’s on you. Oh, that’s what I feel like when you cheat on me. You should probably shut the f*** up”.

This is her defense MOO

Excused a woman, over an outburst.

At first I thought it was a juror. Someone in the gallery.

Crazy.

Video interview where Sarah claims she awoke, didn't know where JT. Found him in the suitcase.

Took him out, tried to do CPR, just air coming out.

Brings up his heart, wanted him to see a doctor.

Says she came her ex husband and then called 911 and "here we are".

SB says she stayed in bed to collect her thoughts for the day. Oh please! She was hungover and everyone knows it.
