"I'm a straight A student, an excellent mother, I excell at everything."

Sure, Jan.
Just another lie - her own ex-husband said on the stand that she is terrible about remembering when to pick up their son.

"I didn't want to drink."

"I didn't want to go upstairs."

"I didn't want to go upstairs."

Who makes poor Sarah's body do these things to her?

"It's the drinking."

OMG I forgot how much I loved this line from SB: When I say cheating I mean on his phone.

  • #464
Now SB is defensive.

JT appreciates her. It wasn't too much for to do everything for him.

"We're like that." Always playing around.

Fires questions back at LE -- "Is that what you're trying to assume?"

I just love how she keeps repeating stuff to the detectives over and over, like a mom would to a child. She fascinates me for some reason.

"It was not intentional."

I am feeling for the jury. We've had YEARS to get used to SB and her endless theatrics, it's all new for the jurors.

Welcome to the crazy train.

Observation:

"I don't know what you want me to say" is code for "I don't know how to craft my lie because I don't know what you know".

Doesn't know why it took so long to call 911. One of her many nonanswers: I don't look at clocks.

(I think she actually said, "I'm not someone who looks at clocks".)

She must have been SORE from all that CPR she didn't do.

It's not fair! A child's last resort.

SB made JT a happier better person. She says. Everybody notices that. It was a great day.

I'm glad she kept talking. Let the jury hear her emphasis on good day, I did everything, it wasn't intentional so, if she takes the stand, they have hours of Sarah, in her own words.

Between her screeching and Leilani's I don't know how much more I can listen to.

"It was a good day. It didn't end well."

Understatement of the year goes to SB.

I love how Sarah is so concerned in the interview about notifying Jorge's probation officer about his death, because Jorge's going to be in trouble for missing his anger management classes. What does it matter now?! He's deceased!

"So am I getting my phone back?"

It's evidence, Honey. You'll see it again at trial.

Today's your day.

Phone, meet Sarah.

Sarah, meet phone.

It's a good day. To be evidence.

Next video must be after LE gets some autopsy reports.

"I have no idea what it is" as she is asked about his injuries/bruises.

She owns crashes.

She "thoroughly" hates it. Because it was such a great day, nobody laid a hand on anybody.

"I have not touched him". On repeat.

"It was a good day. We had a good day. It was a good day. I don't know where this is coming from."

I've been good. Since he got out of jail, it's been good.

But now she's reviewing past injuries. Now the waterworks. I love him. I thought he could come around.

I did everything for him. And he was trying.

I'm sorry, what adult calls drinking/getting wasted "having a good time". I don't want to drink but...

She is obnoxious, like she's starring I'm a one-act play. The tears, on demand. Well, without actual tears.

JMO
She didn't touch him, but that baseball bat sure did!
IMO.

She's trying to control the interview. Basically don't show up at my house. Not in front of my son.

Swears on his head.

Sorry, Sarah, you don't get to decide when they arrest you.

Jorge had maybe told his probation officer about all their difficulties and his troubles.
I imagine he was in a pitiful state psychologically and physically by the time SB murdered him. It's heartbreaking.

If he were a woman, there'd be no doubt whatsoever that this was the victim of a coercive controlling manipulative abuser who had collapsed their entire life around and then killed them. He was probably planning to leave her.

She even tries to allot her punishment. Has to live with it, she says, which is punishment enough.

I don't think the judge will see it that way, after verdict.

SB: Nonetheless, I have to live without him now which is punishment enough (x 2)
LE: And so do his daughters
SB: Are you trying to make it worse? Are you trying to make it worse?
LE: Make what worse?
SB: How I feel...
