She had two dogs but didn't get out of bed until after 11:00. Didn't the dogs need food or to use the bathroom? My dog would be going crazy if I was still in bed at 11:00 and hadn't fed him or let him out yet in the morning.
Look at the still pictures of the suitcase video, paying special attention to the condition of the carpet.
There's your answer.
IMO.

I doubt she was doing CPR. It took her forever to call 911. moo

Okay, good point. Yuck.

I still can't believe she didn't call 911 right away and called her ex then waited and waited for him.

Oh, now she was afraid that ex would bring son over so that's why she called him first and not 911.
It's not like she hung up with ex and called 911.

She must think her jurors are stupid.

What?! Brian wasn't going to bring their son over -- the child was at school!
Liar, liar, pants on fire!

It was Sarah's day to pick up the child, at 3:00pm. Why would she think Brian would bring the child over at 12:00 on a school day, on Sarah's day? She's just making it up as she goes along.

"And I was still doing CPR, I don't know how many times I did CPR". Said someone who did no CPR.

IMO

She knew he was long dead. She called ex to ask what to do. MOO

This is spectacular. In the most cringy way possible.

Sarah is trying to present herself simultaneously as a hero and a victim.

Ah, the internal dance of her unique cluster of disorders.

"two bodies with one soul"
I notice how Jorge is a drinker according to the defendant. Blame the victim- deflect! moo
Meanwhile SB claims she was trying to have a "normal life.
For her son (with Jorge there in the house? ) and with WORK.
When and where did she work because that's a first, yes?
The state is going to chew her up and spit her out.

Exactly! None of these excuse stories of hers make any sense whatsoever.

Seriously, IMO this is SB's psyche on display.

To win, she has to say she was weak, but saying she was weak goes against her grandiosity.

I hope you're right.

The state didn't introduce any psychologists or psychiatrists to talk about BSS or Sarah's behavior because "overt act" hadn't been established. Now the state has rested, so they won't get an opportunity to introduce their experts to defend against the BSS. Tricky.

With the Court's permission, even having rested their case, the State can still call an expert to challenge the credibility of a defense expert by presenting evidence that contradicts their testimony or reveals potential bias.

“His drinking was debilitating to me trying to help him.”

SB is Mother Teresa, y’all.

I'm curious if the prosecution' will ask her about having no problem with her son living in this violent toxic house?

She calls Brian during a violent fight with Jorge to help her get her keys and Brian brings their son and Jorge appears with a butcher knife.
Sounds like Brian is quite the enabler.
Their poor poor son exposed to all this.

And then with everybody there she she engages the knife wielding JT in a tug of war over the key. Just more lies......

Did she want Brian to leave their son (age 7 at the time) home alone? He's a single dad and wouldn't have time to arrange for childcare in what sounds like an emergency situation. Not sure what else she expected him to do than to bring the child along. For how much Brian helped her (too much, IMO), she seems to always have a complaint about him.

Help.

If the overt act was his fingers coming out, and she successfully beat them back in, where was her new overt act?

She went upstairs because she was terrified? Terrified with what?

Jury deserves PopTarts after this.

JMO

Judge says the law only requires a scintilla of evidence to establish an overt act so there we have it. SB received the benefit of the doubt of one unheard word or unseen gesture.

She's telling a story how he stabbed her in the leg. Her eyes are so obvious she's lying about the details. MOO
