Owens had a hard time getting her to answer whether or not SB had BSS. She hemmed and hawed before finally saying yes.

This isn't great. In fact, it's pretty bad. This is the State's Rebuttal Witness to counter-claims that SB had BSS!

Honestly, I'm not impressed with the prosecutor either. If they didn't have the direct recording, it would be a toss up. MOO

My impression is this witness is intentionally answering questions in the vaguest manner possible. She is not a good witness and definitely not what the state expected.
