I noticed the Judge caught “that it seems like it’s stipulated between the parties that 2b ‘Sarah Boone intentionally procured an act that caused the death of George Boone….”

the defense apparently (and understandably from their side/tactics) didn’t correct the State using the name George/Jorge (unclear of how it was exactly written) BOONE instead of Torres on the jury instructions, only for the Judge to catch that error at the last second. Interesting. JMOO.

I feel like she may have been trying to mask those as much as she could although a lot of the traits were there.

Seems like none of the mental health people saw all of the videos, texts and spoke with ex.
Jorge must have had such a low self esteem to stay in that relationship. Just horrible watching those last videos.

And SB fancying at being quite a little dominatrix. Loved it so much, she had to tape it. IMO.

Interesting…. And I have been intrigued by the constant reference by defense to battered woman syndrome vs. battered spouse syndrome, although both have been infrequently used in the courtroom in this case. Almost wonder if they are deliberately (or the contrary) trying to invoke spousal aspects when the parties AFAIK were not legally married in FL. Not sure their exact approach, or why the possible oversight on misidentifying the victim JT. IANAL. MOO

imho she is a classic abuser, how many times haven´t we heard those words from dv victims, "you made me do this"

Jorge Torres' family is sitting in the courtroom including his brother (who took the stand the other day) and I believe his mom too - this as the state is reading texts from 2019 between Sarah/Jorge and Sarah/Jorge's mom

That's what I thought.

Coercive control? There you go. That's a person's whole identity right there. She possessed it. She destroyed it. I hope it's not lost on the jury. That action alone is charged, controlling, apart from everything else she's done.

So true @SluethinAway …. the term that almost comes to mind could even be demure? Which might more typically be ascribed to a woman or female. Such a sad and unnecessary death and case. MOO

Goodness, those texts were cringeworthy. And I bet SB feels like she was justified for acting that way. UGH. The sooner she is locked up for good the better for society. Feel sorry for the prison staff, though.
