Delay to the start of jury selection #SarahBoone didn't receive her clothes on time. Judge left the bench and asked to be alerted when she's there and ready.
My goodness, I'm sure the judge has steam coming out of his ears!

Boone's attorney said the jail would not let her wear her own shoes and she currently has jail flip flops on.
Judge says there are privacy panels located in front of counsel's table and the jury should not be able to see #SarahBoone's feet today. Judge will provide an order to the jail that after today she can wear her own shows.

BREAKING: Jury selection has been postponed until next Monday, Oct. 14th due to Hurricane Milton.
Judge had a long sidebar. He confirmed the court will be closed Wednesday and Thursday this week and Friday is unknown. Due to concerns of jurors doing what they need to do to prepare for the hurricane, he has postponed jury selection until next Monday, Oct. 14.

Just saw that Sara Boone rejected a plea deal of 15 years for manslaughter! That would be a great sentence for her! With time served that would be around 10 years.
That tape of Jorge struggling in the suitcase calling for help from her while she laughed at him--she's going to be found guilty in my opinion and sentenced to life in prison--and she rejected 15 years! I can't believe it!

I wonder when that plea deal was offered. 15 years. Time served, what 75% of that probably? She'd be halfway done already.
Ah, but she's found fame in jail, in her head mainly.
Guessing all 57 of attorneys told her to take the deal --
Including the current one.
Can the judge double her sentence for killing someone, having remorse for no one, and wasting everyone's time?
