He expresses a lot of contempt for drunk people in his interviews with the police.

I really hope they convict this guy.

OMG I MISSED IT!!!

I really thought it would be tomorrow. So glad they got it right !

I literally just sat down after getting myself and my kids an early dinner. I was online all day watching Adam Matos and checking this one. Got nothing done at my house LOL. And I missed it! My hubby will love that he has to watch the closings with me now when he gets home LOL

He was sentenced to two life sentences plus 15 years to run consecutive.

Someone on twitter wrote concurrent and that’s not right- I didn’t check before I posted sorry!

They are actually consecutive.. not concurrent.

I didn't hear parole mentioned..not sure how that works with two consecutive life sentences plus fifteen years for three charges.

This guy was such a smug arsehole during his interviews with cops. Very arrogant. I am so happy he will be starting out his life sentence by spending Thanksgiving in prison.

Oops. I’ll fix my post.

I’m skipping ahead and watching the sentencing. The father is speaking. Heartbreaking. He is speaking very kindly about his parents.

Wow no witnesses on behalf of the defendant. Witness says nothing. Wow.

When sentenced she gives 2 years time served. His lawyer doesn’t argue any sentence he says they are automatic.

Yes, it was heartbreaking to see her parents. I also feel so bad for all the various friends and the women who found her wandering around..... I am sure they struggle with wishing they had made a different choice that night.

Of course, the only true fault lies with Stephen Duxbury, but she was extremely vulnerable in her intoxicated state. She just had the bad misfortune to cross paths with a predator that night.

Well I guess he’s going to maintain his innocence. Must be why he didn’t speak.

He liked to pick a victim,
then picked at her locked door.

Now he can sit out this dark life he'd sown,
behind a lock door of his own.

And now the new victim preyed upon shall be him,
as the confederacy of prisoners swoop down,
to pick him apart

i send love and light to Mr. and Mrs.Samsudean and family

Upon presentation of the prosecution's computer forensic evidence i found it highly interesting Duxsbury had googled "alexithymia" after his 5 web searches on resetting electronic keypads .

Alexithymia simply defined is the inability to engage in emotional connections.

One could postulate, albeit arbitrarily, what may have been on Duxsbury's mind in those crucial moments before he returned to apartment 345 : Did he have an active awareness of some internal emotional deviancy on his part. What if anything on those alexithymia pages links either rejuvenated or repulsed him.

Perhaps one shall never know, even though the outcome was as foreboding as the term implied .

Don't worry about a little housework...although i shouldn't talk.

i was plenty grateful some dust i accumulated didn't morph into a full blown walking/talking anatomical human being during those prolonged long-winded Juan Martinez/Jodi Arias
smack downs.

He looks so scarry even with his calm appearance you can see the violent inside him. What a monster.

I just read about this case. So sad. So many attempts to get her home and safe and then the very person that should be providing safety robs her of her life.
