Saturday morning - After a discussion I didn't understand since IANAL and I tuned in a bit late...jury absent.

Now at 9:10-ish, the jusy is brought in and it's time for cross with Snelgrove.

Good Evening, Peeps! I was away from this case all day - a women's class in the morning & travel to the coast this afternoon. I plan to check the Brian Entin tweets and see if I can find the copy of today's stream. It's in this thread somewhere.

About the bootprints: All JG will have to say -- and he will have to say it, on the stand, seems to me -- is that he jumped the fence between the properties & walked on the grass to the mancave. Easy-peasy IF he takes the stand. His atty just can't say that for JG other than in the closing statement...

Missed you folks today. See you tomorrow! Will they start at 8:30?

BBM-Don't think he has a choice...from what I have heard the prosecution has been able to keep out testimony relating to the man cave and the drinking that occurred there. Watched the cross of Snelgrove and defense was shut down when trying to bring up the unaccounted time. grrr was able to rewind the cross but got kicked out for redirect, guess court is done for the day :(

As the Defense for John Goodman presents their case beginning Monday, 10/20/14, I think it is important that we remember the true victim in this case: Scott Wilson!

I have no sympathy whatsoever for John Goodman who is charged with DUI manslaughter, failure to render aid and vehicular homicide.

Just because Goodman is very wealthy does not mean he is above the law (although he thinks he is).

I do hope this jury, like the first jury, finds John Goodman guilty as charged. Because of Goodman's actions and his choices which involved alcohol, Scott Wilson is dead!

John Goodman needs to serve time in prison and think about Scott Wilson everyday. Scott Wilson will never have any more opportunities in life because of Goodman. Who knows what kind of greatness Scott Wilson could have achieved in his lifetime. Scott Wilson, a recent college graduate, had his entire future ahead of him until John Goodman took it all away.

Although Goodman is very wealthy, he needs to take responsibility for his drunk driving and the death of Scott Wilson. What a horrific way to die .. . .. drown in a canal loaded with fertilizer runoff, chemicals, etc. Per the Medical Examiner's testimony, it may have taken Scott Wilson 5 minutes to die.

What a horrific way to die .. . a slow drowning death and obviously knowing that one is dying!

The above is just my opinion!

Gone . . . but not forgotten . . . . .
May justice be yours, Scott!

borndem, thank you for the above! That is very nice of you. You are so creative!

I am glad to bring the media sources forward each day. It makes it convenient for all of us. We don't
have to go backwards and try to find the last list posted. We are "good to go" every morning!

I appreciate everyone's comments and all of the tweets you have posted. There are days that I have to be out of town and can
not watch the trial in real time so I "catch up" at night.

So did they get rid of this convicted felon juror? Sounds like bad news. I'm assuming they have an alternate to fill in with.

Not yet....(!)

The defense atty said he wasn't ready to give up on him yet. The judge didn't like keeping him in the jury. They agreed to wait a bit longer since they still had time to make the decision.

At least, that's the way it sounded to me...

They still should have 4 alternates IIRC, so we are in no danger of having a mistrial on that side of things...

We'll see.

Someone please correct me if I heard it wrong -- the sound from the courtroom is not very good on my PC...
