WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. —The first moments of the John Goodman trial got off to a bizarre twist when juror number 10 told the judge she had been heckled at her hotel two nights in a row by unknown people standing by the pool.

The juror said the first night she was on her balcony and heard someone yell toward her “Watch out, you’ll go to jail like Van.” The second night she heard them say “You’ll go to jail like Van Fleet,” a mispronunciation of Travis Van Vliet, the prospective juror who was jailed in Tampa for contempt of court for Googling words in the trial.

Hey! Just popping in to see how the re-trial is going. I saw the first one, I have a bit less interest now because my life has gotten too busy to do otherwise.

GF/daughter back on the stand. It sounds like they ought to move the jurors to another hotel. It's location is apparently not secret enough.

Wow! He had all kinds of injuries, she took him to "some" ER but can't remember which one. She doesn't remember a lot! She says she's sure she told his attorneys at the time. I wonder if the jury is picking up on this...

Prosecutor did a great job on GF. It wouldn't surprise me if the pros. goes to all the ER's in Miami with a warrant for records of that day to see if he was really there. Mr. G's injuries sure have grown since the first trial. Heck, a bad head bump would have been great for the first trial. Does he have new attorneys for this case? If so, I'd bet they never heard of the ER visit either.

She's in a tuff position. Oh, I think she knows a lot -- and she certainly knows him...

The fire captain is explaining all of the potentially harmful materials that could be in the canal -- fertilizers, plants, etc., etc. And the poor Wilsons are listening to all this nastiness, knowing their sweet son has breathed them into his system as he was dying. OMG, how awful, maddening, and sad. Oh, my.

Oh yes, C'Moon, he has a fresh batch of attorneys. Mr. Black, who was supposed to be the best, obviously didn't earn his pay, IMO, on the first trial. So, now we've got a new crew -- the DT table is full of folks. We also have a new 1st chair prosecutor who seems to be doing just fine. And yes, poor JG's inuries somehow have gotten much worse, poor guy... Grrrrr.
