I found it....I have it after all....ONLY dumpster in the ball park...

My gosh - talk about being out in the open and in plain view. This dumpster gets a 'no' vote from me.

I guess they have alot of extra time on their hands!

BTW-I couldn't switch the link w/ a pic fast enough!

You can say that again sista!

And it seems the government expects us citizens to keep track of every single one of them all of the time!

Dr. Fessel, the dumpster pic on crankypants is after it was searched...I have no pics of before because there was no reason to have them then....kwim

I think I'm leaning more towards someone snatching her after she left the house initially and hiding her somewhere until they could get back into the house after the workers left. But again...that's a big risk. Where would they hide her? How would they keep her quiet if they, in fact, killed her in that house?

I would think the construction company would have to provide a port-a-john but since the bathrooms are that close, they may not have had to.

Is there any way to find out whether the house had utilities? I had asked about electricity (could have had generators) ... but what about water?

It was gutted to 2x4s (according to news source and will find if anyone needs) so I wondered exactly what the construction workers were doing. I'm construction-challenged so I can't even begin to think of the steps one would take ... maybe reframing ... then dry wall and lay plywood (or whatever) for floors ...

How sure are we on the kyle story or if there is really a kyle? Could kyle be a neighborhood kid the contractors hired to clean up?

  • #287
Also, I was told that if the electricity is on, you have garbage service (and are paying for it).

  • #288
I just don't think someone would risk being seen out in the open where that dumpster is!
Unless he hid her somewhere and then waited till dark.
I do....

Maybe that bathroom had some evidence left there. I think she was lured in the house, probably raped and killed rather quickly...hidden, he may have walked over to clean up then went back and disposed of her. Someone in that neighborhood that didn't look out of place IMO

hmmmm.. this is what I am thinking, however I wondering who was the last to leave the work site @ Gano? This house had at least 2 or 3 working on it. Vinson the owner of the Co., his assistant and do we know for fact that Kyle is his assistant? Most likely another individual. So... id this Perp wait til the others left, its all about the time.

Well, look at that. I have to say that I do not believe this has been dumped in a while-someone (sorry, lost the mental 'link') said that commercial dumpsters were emptied the same days as the neighborhood pickups. I think (MOO, of course) that this would NOT be considered a commercial dumpster-it's obviously one that's under the contractor's discretion. Now-why do I say that? Because of the carpeting, etc that is in there, and the amount of household debris-they've been working on this house for about 2 1/2 or 3 months, if they started in July...they would have been waaay past the top layer by now, which carpet would be.

The local reporter on HLN today said evidence was taken out of the mens restroom at the park.

I've no doubt they took a lot of forensic evidence from there, hoping for a needle in a haystack.

Imagine all the ick there is in a public men's room.

Did they check the women's too? I mean Somer could have gone in there ... would have been a good place to hide and watch for her siblings to pass maybe.

think about this....someone living close by here. this was supposedly the first place searched, then moving on down toward Somer's home...if it was someone close, they could see everything going on, even be a part of that search, until later that night....or in the wee hours of the morning....it is dark there I am thinking....maybe I should do a drive by at night and see......I can't go tomorrow like I wanted to, half day of school for my son, so it will have to wait for now...not sure when I can get back up that way....make me a list of what pics you guys want, and I will see what I can do...maybe this weekend...not sure

Dumpsters at constructor sites aren't considered part of the commerical dumpster pick up. They are rented by the contractors and emptied when the contractor makes arrangements.

I Have also wondered if this could be a older kid. I remember reading that Somer ran ahead of her sister, brother and friends and the last time they saw her she had gotten in front of some older kids also walking home. A kid would have been alot less noticeable following her, and his friends might have thought nothing of it. He could have made an excuse, had to go back to school, forgot something maybe. IDK but maybe
Yeah-and let's not forget (ever) Elizabeth Olten in Missouri who was just found murdered by a 15-year old girl.
Unfortunately, nothing's off the table at this point.

I'm really thinking that Kyle might be the killer, the one for sure watching the media. Maybe Diena was taunting and trying to get him to call back when she made that odd statement about him not being able to get anybody.

I'm just wondering about groundskeepers around that area. Someone who would have a cart or a wagon or something they use to haul stuff to the dumpster on a regular basis. They wouldn't stick out at all. But I'd still think somebody doing it in the middle of the night would be odd. Maybe there's a clean up guy for the park or something that works late??

Okay , the window of this heinous crime narrows down to 3pm ish Oct 19th til the early morn Oct 20 around 7am . When does the sun rise in this part of the state?

I wondered that at the time if the police had asked her to say that.

When I first heard the story of Kyle, I figured it was a figment of the reporter's imagination -- one step up from "anonymous source" ... a first name. But to link someone to the workers at the house ... he must exist. Maybe only first name because he is a minor?

I keep thinking they hired a neighbor kid to cleanup after they were done each day.
