I don't know but in 8 months and rain, I think the soot would only be in and maybe some of the outside of the house or any piece of burnt debry
from the house in garbage bin?

Yes, you are probably right. I didn't remember how long ago the house burned. I should have checked to find out before posting that. Sorry for the bad post.

Thank you wishbone! Gosh, I don't even know what day it is, lol.
Well, at least I don't have to tackle bills tomorrow, they can wait until Monday, ugh.

My response:
Please show me how any one thing, or all of them together, makes the case that Diena is somehow responsible for her daughter being abducted, murdered, and thrown in the trash. And next, please tell me how the innuendos of her sex life on Facebook would invite pedophiles. TIA

Eyes4crime, I'm just curious: have you seen the same pictures that NSC and some of the rest of us saw? That may be a good starting point here.

You say "I don't discount bad behavior in the face of a tragedy" I don't either as long as it has anything to do with the case.

Maslow aside, I happen to agree with NSC that this could have something to do with the case. Just objectively speaking, there was more than one man hanging around that house (I'm not calling her a hussy, really, but we really have no idea) and the pictures on the internet paint an interesting picture. Call me judgemental if you will, but as a mother you will NOT see pictures like that of me on the internet (or off, but that's neither here or there) and I really think it's inappropriate. I'm not a prude, per se, but I think it's poor judgement to post such things when you're the mother to little eyes.

We don't know what kind of attention that brought Diena, and if that attention perhaps brought attention to her daughter. All parents need to realize that some people are wired completely wrong and won't draw the line between an adult and a child. Men you bring into your life, innocently or not, necessarily won't stop at coveting you. Most guys can be wonderful, but some aren't. There are certain realities to some crimes and without blaming the victim, there are certain proactive steps you can take to help minimalize your risk. That includes limiting or monitoring access to your children when they're outside your presence and being hypervigilant to habits and patterns of your child that might put him/her at risk.

I'm not saying DT was a bad parent. I just think that maybe there was a crack left in the door that, if closed, could have possibly prevented this death. Unfortunately, hindsight is not 20/20.

And I guess I'm saying the same thing NSC was--that while I feel such heartwrenching sympathy for Diena, I'm not sure that makes her immune to scrutiny while the investigation is ongoing.

My response:

I think that the whole point is that we need to remove emotion from this for a moment and look objectively at everything. Quite frankly, if you post those kind of pictures of yourself, perhaps you're inviting attention. Perhaps they're indicative of a ...vibrant...sex life. That doesn't mean Diena is responsible for the murder, obviously, but it could mean that her behavior or habits might have brought someone into her life that did this to Somer.

That's not saying she's to blame. But it's an investigative angle to persue and perhaps means that instead of this hyperfocus on RSOs, there should be closer attention paid to the men in DT's life.

You say having a certain lifestyle makes your child more vulnerable...and to prove your point you cite:

...mom lives in home parents or x-husband provided
...mom portrays anal sex on facebook
....mom gives oral sex to a pretend wee wee on facebook
...If her son was in fall sports there would be no need for this forum
...her boyfriend describes himself on facebook as a 'trashy, 🤬🤬🤬🤬 loving truck driver'
...Somer didn't walk home with enough kids (poor child!)

You say mom is at a survival level and use Maslow as your evidence
and you tell me you' here to be Somer's voice

My response:
Please show me how any one thing, or all of them together, makes the case that Diena is somehow responsible for her daughter being abducted, murdered, and thrown in the trash. And next, please tell me how the innuendos of her sex life on Facebook would invite pedophiles. TIA

I am not going to continue this banter. If you think some of those things are fine. That is your opinion.

BBM, However I do feel the need to address this part of your post. This was no inneundo and it wasn't on facebook. It is on a PUBLIC myspace that is still PUBLIC. Gee, IDk how they might invite the unsavory into your life. Bad things attract one of the same.

I am done with this for now. We respectfully disagree.

For Halloween, yes. This thread, no.
Well, I'm going to say goodnight and since we get an extra hour sleep tonight I'll try to join you all here earlier in the day tomorrow. A new day, a new month and hopefully new clues who killed Somer.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

In answer to the question re: CWG. YES - I am curious as to why his name, address, phone number, place of employment (which turned out to be false info) was included on the initial missing person's police report by officers at the scene. Bearing in mind, the police report is the first phase of an investigation, and could contain errors which might later be amended/supplemented, but WHY and HOW was his name and info included?!

I know this has been discussed at length here, but until I understand why and how, I will continue to have questions.

I tried to respond to this question earlier, but my computer froze up suddenly and I had to re-boot.

Oh - and I had to laugh at the question about whether or not I know BSU - no, I don't! But I thought he/she raised some valid points!

Actually, the nuns put all selfishness aside while they serve god and humanity.

Oh, so they dont need to have sex to get to the top of the pyramid.

Moon is not full until November 2nd.

So hang on to your hat we have a few more days of this...

Well if that's the case, think I might give myself a time out for a few days until this passes...I can catch up on some housework, trim my toe nails, pluck my eyebrows, etc...

kids love ms .. I just hope and pray none of them looked at that. maybe the neighbor saw them from the statement she made to media about the trash.. hmm just thought of that..

Hang in with any idea or opinion you have!

I so agree with this beimom.... I was so over protective of my children and now I preach and preach to my children about their children. I tried working when my children were 4 and 2 but gave that up fast. I wouldn't let me children stay at friends houses over night or even go to houses.. they came to ours..

I guess you could call me over protective as well because there is no way on this earth that I would let two 7 year olds and a ten year old walk over a mile to get home from the school. There may be safety in numbers, but when you're dealing with children that doesn't hold true......

It looked full and beautiful to me, but not perfectly full until Nov. 2nd.

Let's hope for the children's sake that a tabloid doesn't buy it and put it on front page in super markets!
How would any of us explain that to our kids/grandkids????

Panthera, this brought tears to my eyes. So many things she will never do. Praying that she's resting in God's loving arms tonight.

This horrendous whole episode is like ripples in the Gulf of Mexico-they'll never end.
I doubt that Somer's brother and sister are out trick or treating tonight, either. Maybe not her friends, or her friends' friends...and on and on it goes...
