About the funeral dress: It was pretty shocking when I looked at the pic and saw just how low cut the dress is, and thought it was something a young woman might wear to a nightclub. It was extremely low cut and so much cleavage showing that I can't help but wonder what on earth the Baptist minister doing the funeral might have thought. This sort of thing along with sex type pics on FB could attract some pervert who is just trying to meet women with children. Also, there is still a little boy and a ten year old girl to think of, and not knowing who killed Somer. I wouldn't want any sort of undue attention drawn to myself or the kids if I were in the same position, and that dress was a total attention getter. Diena may have been told to insult the killer on tv by saying that he can't get a woman, or anyone. That insult, threats to the killer, and that dress might not be a very safe thing to be doing when the other children are still needing protection.

Dieana's children have been through enough, and the mere thought of this happening makes my stomach turn. Not only her children, but the childrens playmates parents, and the community that just embraced this family.

I can't even think about it. AND people do anything, literally anything to sell someone out to the tabloids for a story and trashy photos. I hope Dieana doesn't have too many enemy gal-pals.

Wow, She must of changed dresses and had more pictures taken because the one I saw her in was nothing like the one you describe. Note to self, recomend burkas to all women going to a childs funeral.

In previous posts you keep bring up Mom's dress & there is nothing wrong with this...you took the time to poll your friends on this & there is nothing wrong with that. I read thoughts and opinions mostly about the high risk of strangers in and out of this family's home, due to lifestyle.

No one here has accused the Mother of this murder, or having anything to do with it, however looking at everyone around the family is usually the first thing they look into with a crime like this. Well... no actually the family is first, and then extended family, friends, and neighbors.

You saw a regular dress that any woman might wear to church, an office, or to a meeting at a child's school? Women and children are already under a psychological burka when other women have to fear that some perverted man might see more into cleavage and FB where the kids and woman herself could become a target.

I for one am not blaming the mother for the child's abduction. My friend's child was abducted years ago never to be seen again, and they are fabulous people. But believe me, their friends and acquaintances were looked at because we all have contact with unsavory people who may glom onto us in some way whether we want them to or not. Take the stalkers of movie stars. Those stalkers have made the stars their targets. And I don't mean DT attracted attention. I mean DT has what the perp wanted- a child. And I don't even mean that it was necessarily DT's child per se. It is a child that was the target.

The problem is that we don't know why Somer was the target. Total stranger, acquaintance, or friend. But if the burned house was the spot, then it's probably someone familiar with the neighborhood for some reason. Like what? Mailman, meter reader, jogger, who knows?

When my friend got divorced, the advice she got from a friend in LE was to watch out for future boyfriends because with 2 girls she might attract someone who was far more interested in her girls. She ended up with a prince, but she was always very aware and is still aware of that with other friends who may get divorced.

When one lives a certain lifestyle, they are even more prone to attract unsavory types. I don't think they may even be aware of it at the time. To not look at who may be around the family is totally living in denial.

I don't understand why people are so emotional about it. If one is going to detect, one has to be detached and not put emotion into it because that can cloud vision.

It doesn't matter if one has done similar things as DT. It has nothing to do with you. It's about finding who did the crime. This could happen to anyone and it has. Blameless and not blameless. It doesn't matter. It's the perp who matters in this.
