Thanks, but why not discuss why Somer's Mom couldn't do it, instead of talking about "the dress" or just ignore it? You keep bringing it up (when it is not necessary IMO) lol. Sorry I really respect your posts, but it is something I have noticed that stands out to me & I had to ask..:blowkiss:

I keep bringing up the dress because it is the striking example to me of the statements made by these people that have no bearing on figuring this out and like these statements on her behavior and stuff lead us in no direction we have not gone. But they keep being made over and over.

I wish we could get back to sleuthing for that child killer......

I wish people would remember that Polly K was home with her mother, Adam W was at a mall with his mother, Dylan G was home with his mother........the list goes on and on and on.

It is not about us and what we consider moral or immoral. It is about a killer.....and nothing posted today could be considered beneficial to finding Somer's killer.

Somer wasn't home with her Mother...!!
Somer had to walk over a mile to and from school everyday.
Somer had a habit of not returning home with the other children and at times 30 mins to an hour late.
Somer's Mother didn't disclose this tid bit of information and we have no clue where Somer was going. Was she being groomed by this monster right under everyone's nose? She was snapped up so quick that it makes me wonder if she ran to the house and knew this guy-- was he close to the family and she knew him already? OR was this a random child killer that just snatched her off the street?

DT and her circle of friends, boyfriends, current and X's, and their friends need to be looked at. I think Somer may have known her killer.

Wait, You mean because she showed about 6 inches of cleavage now other women and childern have to fear for their saftey?

What I mean is that we don't know who killed Somer. It could have been a serial killer who trolled around alot, a stalker, or even a friend of a friend. Insulting the manhood of the killer on tv, threatening him, public pics on FB or MS, and the cleavage could cause some deranged lunatic killer to do something. My point is why draw attention to yourself when there are other children in the family and yourself if the killer is not known or caught.

Hello this halloween night... well actually its now tomorrow. Hi Sorrell Skey and everyone. One aspect I would like to hear more on is comments made (and not made by LE). Usually with a missing person, all details are put out there. That area was crawling with folks searching the night of the 19th so I think it would not be opportunity for the child to be moved. This Sheriff, who seems very sharp, seems to be trying to "confirm" someone specific they already have in mind and information from a Profiler is laying out the specifics to get others to turn in a tip. LE has clearly said this was abduction and homocide. Until more confirms that the person "Kyle" exists and is part of the workers at that house.... I question his injection into the investigation. Kinda makes one go... Hmmmmm. Has anyone picked up on any cryptic communications made by LE in updates?

Can't find him - tried 3 sex offender sites and did a criminal background check - maybe his name is spelled wrong. Where did this come from? Or maybe he wasn't registered. TIA

Although it is my personal opinion that Diena did not murder her daughter, nor did she have any part in it, the connection to this killer could be as simple has he saw her and her kids in the grocery store one day ... or it could be that he never saw Diena at all and Somer was in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

I sometimes wonder if the boy who saw her by the tanks "with a frown on her face" was because she saw something ... and she wasn't quite sure what she'd seen ... but my theories change daily.

I don't know tfrohning I am not ruling anyone out just yet.. no one. if the killer can't run in his own territory then he will expand. and I don't buy the age thing.. I think male or female at any age under 18 they would be happy with at the time.. I could be so wrong but just my thinking on it..

Maybe this is the first time he has been caught . I noticed in the white pages his last name ends with two n's . Middle inital F . Address in Jacksonville .If it is the same person .

Here is a big gap in the info on the police report - Diena and one male juvenile are listed as the initial people on the report - I'm assuming the male juvenile is her older son who she picked up at the OPAA park. We have tons of info on the back-and-forth text messages between DT and SP. We have tons of info on how DT contacted the boyfriend at work and asked him to come home and help look. We have info on how the older sister and twin arrived home and how older sis was sent out to "look real good." What we don't have is how older brother was contacted and told to look for Somer.
Why was he at OPAA? Diena says she was picking him up there on her way home. In a TV interview, she says he was already there looking (this is in the blacked out video). If he was contacted, it's omitted in the police report, it's omitted in the interviews. Suddenly, he's just there! How did he get there? Who contacted him and told him to look?!
That's a HUGE GAP.

As I have been reading threads and catching up with all the posts, I've noticed there have been a lot of new members joining recently and commenting on this case. Is it because we're all horrified at the sheer tragedy of what happened to Somer, or is it because when we heard about it, something just didn't seem right?

I know for me personally, it was because there were aspects of this case that weren't right from the get-go and still aren't right. I rarely follow crime stories in the news. But there have been so many incongruent elements that I couldn't help but sit up and take notice.

If anyone wishes to discuss this and hopefully flesh out some new ideas, I'll be on for a bit longer. I know it's getting late (probably too late to start a new discussion), but if anyone's interested - I'm all for it!

I think this was a crime of oppurtunity because nobody had any idea Somer would take off from her siblings and run ahead. I also belive the burned out house was the crime sceene because the police and FBI spent thousands of dollars in there and several days processing it. I can not see any of DT's friends from myspace or her personal life having to sit there in a car or something daily waiting for that time Somer comes walking by alone after school so they could grab her and kill her in that house.

I think the juvenile may be the 10 yo sister since in the text part of the report (last pages), he mentions that he met with AT (paraphrased but link to report is in my siggy).

ETA (I guess I don't know enough about the case to know whether things aren't right. I have media reports and one police report. It's as if I were asked for my opinion and was not given all the facts -- and as soon as I give my opinion, they'll let me know why it can't be that way.)

I would LOVE for LE just to release a bit more of interviews and police reports so we knew what actions were taken next (by SP for example).
