Here's what I found out about this sex offender, Maroun Ata...birth date: 3/2/50 or 3/20/50.

1. He has no previous criminal record that I can find
2. He lives at ****Ortega Bluff Lane, Jacksonville
3. He rents from a neighbor
4. Has a son or daughter 26 yo
5. He is Arabian
6. He lists his profession as...cosmetologist - barber - nails! Now may be this is a 'she'. Lists education as 'some college'. that's it for now.

I was thinking that also. It is Fall and time for ball practice and games. Also, kids his age sometimes just hang out at the park/ ball fields with other kids.

I wonder if we can find out about pratice at the park for the schools???
That would be why DT said she was to pick him up...............

I do wonder what made LE go right to the bathroom at the park.

Here is a big gap in the info on the police report - Diena and one male juvenile are listed as the initial people on the report - I'm assuming the male juvenile is her older son who she picked up at the OPAA park. We have tons of info on the back-and-forth text messages between DT and SP. We have tons of info on how DT contacted the boyfriend at work and asked him to come home and help look. We have info on how the older sister and twin arrived home and how older sis was sent out to "look real good." What we don't have is how older brother was contacted and told to look for Somer.
Why was he at OPAA? Diena says she was picking him up there on her way home. In a TV interview, she says he was already there looking (this is in the blacked out video). If he was contacted, it's omitted in the police report, it's omitted in the interviews. Suddenly, he's just there! How did he get there? Who contacted him and told him to look?!
That's a HUGE GAP.

Absolutely this has been looked into be LE...that the only news here is LE is not sharing anything! Funny that LE has basically cleared all SOs in the 5 mile radius, but hasn't cleared family. AND I am not pointing at family at all, just want to point out that in the Cummings case Dad was at werk & there haven't fully cleared him, yet all these SOs they are happy with...go figure is my point!

Although it is my personal opinion that Diena did not murder her daughter, nor did she have any part in it, the connection to this killer could be as simple has he saw her and her kids in the grocery store one day ... or it could be that he never saw Diena at all and Somer was in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

I sometimes wonder if the boy who saw her by the tanks "with a frown on her face" was because she saw something ... and she wasn't quite sure what she'd seen ... but my theories change daily.

I like everyone here has no clue where the children were. They could have been in the other room trying to sleep, like Casey did with dragging Caylee around. They could have been in the other room with strict orders to stay there and play until bed time. We know they weren't with their father due him not being around in 2yrs. so the other option is M. the babysitter. OR maybe home alone with the oldest in charge?

I don't see how they could clear that many that fast.

LE did say that Ron and Crystal were clear..........but LE in IL also said Chris Coleman was clear too.....he now sit in jail on mudering his wife and two little boys.

Sometime I think LE comes out and said that to throw the guilty off track.

No they said they have just questioned all the So's in the area and have not said they cleared any of them.

It is common knowledge that they would question all the family and no reason to state that.

Nobody has been cleared in this case except the sheriff says he has.

The lack of details in the inital report vs. the minute details in the initial report. Who is slanting our view here? Could be mom, could be LE.

What is the motive for doing such? There doesn't have to be ill intent. And really, I am not trying to insinuate such, I am just saying there is conscious action in reporting details in a certain way.

It was finally stated that Kyle did not call in, the reporter actually talked to him in person.

What I mean is that we don't know who killed Somer. It could have been a serial killer who trolled around alot, a stalker, or even a friend of a friend. Insulting the manhood of the killer on tv, threatening him, public pics on FB or MS, and the cleavage could cause some deranged lunatic killer to do something. My point is why draw attention to yourself when there are other children in the family and yourself if the killer is not known or caught.

The things you stated that I bolded made me think of something I have observed that hasn't been brought up yet.
Concerning the 24 hr. police car posted in front of Diena's house-is this a common procedure in an abducted/murdered child case? What makes it stand out in my mind even more is the fact that Somer was not abducted from the home. Anybody recall any other cases where this has occured? The pics from locals posted late this week showed the le car still there so it makes me wonder who and what are they protecting? The guilty party certainly wouldn't be stupid enough to go to the home would they? (rhetorcial question there, I know some criminals are stupid) I can see the le car being there in the beginning because of increased traffic because of the memorial but still there after the funeral? And as beefy as DT's bf is I don't think she would have any worries about anyone harming her. Maybe le did tell her to say the things she did on tv to the perp to try and make him mad and show his face.
