IIRC the early reports of her when she had gone missing said something about her possibly wearing a white hat and scarf.

Just wondered if COD could have been strangulation with her scarf.

That's all that's there.
I'm still wondering if the 4 attempted abductions from Timicuaun Elementary in Jacksonville in 2008 were related.
Strange how many young girls were abducted this year from busy streets or areas and no one noticed anything unusual. Thank goodness for the video in the Tori Stafford case.
No mention of backpack or lunch box in this. Possibly, LE wanted to hold back some information? No, I guess it would not be part of her physical description. IDKAMBER ALERT: ENDANGERED SOMER RENEE THOMPSON

Ok, this is creepy. Check this out. There are a series of YouTube videos covering Somer's case posted by the same YouTube user. Check out the name on the YouTube profile. Here is one of the videos.
YouTube- Where Is Somer Amber ? Amber Alert Issued
Now if you google that name from the profile, that person is dead. Was killed in August.
I don't know that this kid would be capable of an abduction/murder. He has obvious developmental issues. I think he's just upset/excited about the case.
I have no doubt that someone in Orange Park saw or knows or suspects something! I refuse to believe that little Somer went missing and was killed and no one saw or later found out something!
I think these were the people Sheriff Beseler was addressing in that press conference that day.
Someone knows, or suspects, (other than the killer) who committed this horrific crime.
A family member of the killer, a friend of the killer, someone who works with (or for) the killer, a neighbor of the killer, a girlfriend or boyfriend of the killer.
Time for some truth-telling and sharing here: Two years ago, my beautiful daughter was kidnapped out of her home in the middle of the night by her ex-boyfriend and dragged through the neighborhood to the nearby woods where her ex planned on murdering her, but a neighbor woman and her husband (they are both saints to whom I am eternally grateful) heard her crying in the street and called 911. The police were already searching for my daughter due to the 911 call she had secretly dialed with her cell phone in her pocket. Between the neighbor's 911 call and my daughter's 911 call (before she lost her phone when she was beaten half-unconscious), the police were able to locate her and she was rescued. Her ex ran off as the police drove up, but they apprehended him later that night - at his mother's apartment (who lied and told the police he wasn't there when they went to arrest him). Right up to the trial and conviction, this man's mother insisted her son was innocent and, according to jail phone recordings, was even willing to lie on the witness stand (by offering false alibis) to protect her son (even though she knew he was guilty). Thankfully, he's now serving a prison sentence for kidnapping and 1st degree assault, and will be required to register his address for the rest of his life. Thankfully, my beautiful daughter survived, and every time I hug her or kiss her or just look at her sweet, smiling face, I am grateful that she is alive.
One of the many things I learned from my (and my daughter's) horrendous experience is that people will try to cover for someone, even when they absolutely know they are guilty!
Someone knows something! Someone close to the killer. As far as I'm concerned, if they don't come forward with what they know or suspect, they're just as guilty.
The one I posted wasn't the kid with developmental issues. I posted the Saeed guy. Saeed just had a bunch of the Somer news coverage on his YouTube channel...never did see any videos of him.
