I have said before that I did not and do not support the war in Iraq. However, I do know for a fact that the veterans are not getting what they are entitled to. They have to fight for everything and wait and wait.

This country (not me) asked and asks people to go to war, and then they are forgotten when they get home.

ST deserves something for his service to his country. I have seen vets from Vietnam finally get their disability after 30 years! There were special groups set up by former Vietnam vets to get help from the Services and that's how long it took for some!

And the entire time our vets are waiting and waiting for our government to step up and give them the resources they need to survive after serving tours overseas......
sex offenders are given the rights to walk on the streets daily and snatch, rape and murder our children..
I may feel differently about the war, but agree with everything else you just said!

I dont think they are looking at a repeat offender at all.....

Clay County Sheriff's spokeswoman Mary Justino said Friday that investigators have talked to all 161 of the sex offenders residing within a 5-mile radius of 7-year-old Somer Thompson's house.

"Homes have been searched, properties have been searched," she told reporters. "We feel at this time that we do not have any suspects who are members of that group. That part of the procedure has been completed."

She could have worked at the office down the street from her home. They have two locataions.. see web site contact info .. the main office is jacksonville but they also have the Kingsley address. The police report says who the employer is ....not which one she worked at

Where I live (my neighborhood) there are 4 streets in a rectangle. 1/2 mile by 1/12 mile. Granted there are maybe 20 families in that rectangle, but we know everyone of those families. I have three relative families and another neighbor has one.

There is NO WAY that people in Glen ST. Mary do not know each other.

So what does it mean?

I don't know and have no ideas.

The address listed on his inmate profile is in the 200 block. Not near school (well, almost 2 miles from school; 6 minutes driving)

I think she called to see how the kids were doing.

If she had called the instant they arrived home, that would be hard to judge.

And she was at work. So maybe she called at the first opportunity she had.

Based on the phone number and address given, Jacksonville. If she worked at the one in OP why would she give the address of the one in Jacksonville even if it were the "main office" ... I mean the first lie on such a simple question would raise all kinds of red flags.

There are lots of red flags..
being across from the vacant house (OPAA) to pick up son
Countless interviews and never mentioning the Bookbag and lunch box that is missing.. I would think if your looking for ur daughters killer you would be asking for the public to help.
Police ruling out sex offenders so fast
Asking the public from day one to look around properties for bookbag etc
Searching the dump so fast

3:10 pm no Somer....why not 911? why did they wait til 5pm to flag an officer down.
The only reason I can think of as this was Somers normal routine. I am still wondering if Somer was being bullied thus feeling sick that am didn't want to go to school. Mon am after the w/e isn't this when kids usually do not want to go to school?

What Mom would not be upset that her kid did not come home from school

Where was DT between 4 and 5ish..? Did you see anyone one say they saw her looking for somer? Anyone say she was calling friends home looking for somer? Did the police clear her yet? Did she check with home before reporting missing? Did she act strange on her interviews.
