I thought the regular home trash pickup also picked up "construction trash" although there were limits of the size of the containers.

Does anyone else remember this? I'll go search my trash talk section.

I thought the regular home trash also picked up commercial trash from businesses within size limits, but not construction trash. Maybe I'm bass ackwards.

I really don't want to say what I'm about to say, but if Somer was really injured facially that tells me it is much more of a personal attack, as in someone who knew her Do you think they meant she was injured in that way? I'm very sorry, I don't know how else to ask it.

We are all very, very sorry... and I thank you for your concern..but the time for any sympathy imo is over. This is all about somer... who did this and how do we get them? How do we stop at least one monster from doing this again? This forum is how...all of you are how...

but either she was beaten badly,, very very badly worse than being crushed in a trash compactor.. is that even possible?
or she was torn apart if you get my drift...

• No more than 1 appliance (refrigerator, washer, dryer, stove, water heater, freezer). Pursuant to Florida Statute 823.0792, it is unlawful for any person knowingly to abandon or discard or to permit to be abandoned or discarded on premises under his or her control any icebox, refrigerator, deep-freeze locker, clothes washer, clothes dryer, or similar airtight unit having an interior storage capacity of 1 1/2 cubic feet or more from which the door has not been removed.
• No burned material.
• No dirt, rock, concrete, asphalt, or roofing.
• Construction or demolition debris, including carpet, is limited to 1 cubic yard (placed in the designated area). No one piece may be longer than 4’ nor weigh more than 50 pounds.

That is a good very point. Mom was not asked to ID her. In another case last year, a 12 yr. old was murdered (the mother & father were not together) but they were told not to ID her & they used dental records instead as well (which brought endless speculation). In the end it was found, Mom had strangled to death her daughter (Karissa Boudreau) & deliberately, not in a fit of rage...it was planned out. Interesting too in light of Sheniya, she only lived with her bio-mother for a few months as Karissa decided she wanted to live with her. So there was nothing wrong with facial identity is my point.

While I bring up this case, Mom was fund-raising in this small town & donated. Of course people noticed she was at bars, liquor store, buying lobster, & living it up. It didn't take long & people closed their wallets. It took LE 5 months to charge her (although they were onto her very early on) & had to use a sting to prove it. Interestingly, her boyfriend had no idea.

OOps, ETA, in this case, I am not feeling Mom is involved. Don't want anyone to get the wrong impression of my thoughts.

a construction dumpster is not picked up unless it is requested for it to be emptied because who ever has it is charged per pick up.. not by weight.. so ya fill it the brim and get it as full as you can,, then call for pick up.
it may be that this area only has certain days that you can do this... IDK

We saw them going thru the dumpster at gano, which told me that it was not even emptied... so how could somer get to folkston from that dumpster?
never made sense to me and it looked pretty full, but not completely.

Thank you Sadnpod. It's just SO ....I can't even find a word for it. What the hell is wrong with people??? This really changes everything for me. If that is the case, I can't help but think this is something completely different than some pedophile. I mean it could be, someone completely deranged, but this just seems personal. I'm going back to square 1. This sounds like someone with some EXTREME anger problem, or psychotic issues. Generally if a victim is beaten severely or disfigured in someway, it is almost always something personal. I'm just going by other cases I've followed. Is there anyone that you know of that would fit this description??

My heart hurts right now. I just have to get this off my chest, because I have a feeling you all will understand. I hope whoever did this evil thing to this little angel, will get the death penalty. I have a yucky feeling that in time, we will hear details (at a trial perhaps?) and we will all be soooo sad and sick, and angry. More than we are now.

WHY!?!?! Why would anyone do this?!?! It makes NO SENSE! Somer wasn't hurting anybody! She was taking care of everybody! She was a jewel! My heart hurts sooooo badly. Thanks, I needed that.

I've heard that vicious attacks to someone's face indicate anger, jealously, rage, dehumanizing ...... motives. If the attacker does know their victom, there is sometimes a wee bit of care (Hmmmmph!) in how the body is left. This attacker seemed to think that somer was of no importance. OR, was in a mighty rush to dispose of her. In either case, I think this evil doer did not think Somer would ever be found.

I agree, doggies. I've seen it & heard it before - when LE doesn't have a clue, but they don't want the public to know they don't have a clue, they make vague statements similar to what we've read & heard, so the public doesn't lose confidence in them.

But I'm trying really hard to believe they have evidence!!!

I don't have much experience with how LE (detectives & investigators) build their cases, but I do have (limited) experience with what a D.A.'s office wants to have on file before pressing criminal charges - and it sounds like LE might be looking for what the D.A. needs, and are working with the D.A.'s office to identify and collect all the evidence to ensure a conviction.

I'm truly hoping this is what is going on behind closed doors.

I would imagine that being buried under tons of trash would have done some damage to Somer too. I don't think it was necessarily done by the perp.

I do think the funeral home made the right call in not letting family members see Somer. I think it would have tainted their favorite memories of her. JMO

I totally agree + LE would have carted that almost full dumpster off as someone mentioned to go through piece by piece. That is why I am not sure the burnt house was the crime scene. I think LE would have seized the dumpster if they thought the house was involved. I am a bit iffy on the last part, maybe they got all they needed from the house. I am just not hanging my hat that was the crime scene KWIM? I am not betting it is or isn't.

I've also though it was someone who "knew" Somer the way the checkout clerks at WalMart "know" me and my kids. Someone who "knew" them in that capacity.

After reading this, I am wondering, what would have happened if ST HAD INSISTED to the funeral person... would LE have stepped in to stop it... can they? It appeared to me that it was up to ST.. that he could have if he insisted on it. IDK what I would have done.. everything was up to DT at teh funeral home too... ST seemed to be an inconvenience to them and not the star as DT was. He was put to the side. Did not walk in when family entered, we were already seated. They would not give him copies of guest books or copy of cd used or anything but copies of cards on flowers and those must have been sensored as well because 4merneybor's card was not among them. I asked yesterday. ST told me that the Funeral home said they were obligated only to DT because she had signed all the papers and "paid" for it.
I think they were very surprised to see a father at all and did not expect him. The first day they let him sit in front row at other end of DT. The second day they were prepared beforehand to seperate them..
Im rambling,, and none of this will find somers killer.... sorry... back to topics at hand?

I dont want this to swing you in one way or another.... a sexual assault would leave horrible disfigurement for a child this size and age...
