Hi doggies - starting over is a great idea! Just a note: #3 is in dispute cause that information came from a former babysitter (maybe one that Somer didn't care for). Mom D. denys that Somer wandered and said 'if she did, no body told me'. LE never said a word about her wandering etc etc. I'm not so sure that Somer's wandering is a 'fact' at this point. mho

Personally, I am OK with that as she was there babysitting different times & Mom was at work. I would go with that as she is the witness & that her testimony so to speak lol. Mom is just kind of hearsay. Gettin all legal here lol.

What is the usual trash found in a public restroom that LE might have been interested in - aside from the more "personal" items, (such as feminine hygiene products - which I seriously doubt they'd collect)?
Paper towels comes to mind, unless that restroom only has those blow dryers.
But what would have drawn their attention to discarded paper towels (if that's what they collected). Blood?

What else might they have collected as potential evidence that would either be normally found in a public restroom or not normally found - i.e. something out of place, something unusual.

It can't be her tote bag or lunch box, since those are still missing.

Just brainstorming here.

Oh! Just thought of something. Hair in the bathroom sink where someone shaved or cut their hair? Maybe they found a razor or scissors with hair stuck to them in the Gano house and wanted to see if there was evidence
of
hair cutting or shaving in that park bathroom. Or......like you said....on a paper towel that ordinarily would have come from a bathroom dispenser. I know, I know.....I'm crazy.

No, not a fact, but has been substantiated for me by too many people at different times in their lives for me not to believe it...
4mernaybor.. give some insight, please? No one told me... tells me shes putting it on someone else. no one told me, so its not my fault.

IDK, but have heard from two sources that more than 150,000 has been raised... I went by that fund raiser today WHAT A GOOD TIME! NOT!!!!!!!!!!! It made me literally sick to my stomach, but it was kinda fun tellin the bikers about one particular "charity" that tried to charge me for answers. SCUM. IMO. The event today went strictly to the "Thompson Family Fund" which btw does not include ST (duh).

What bothers me more is that someone out there could have info they are not telling waiting for all these fund raisers to end for the reward money to go up, which it doesnt seem to be doing. What bothers me is that people.. MOTHERS are selling their children, there is a huge slave market in several countries, anyone who thinks slavery is abolished, needs to think again.

This charity follows all the missing, abducted, dead children around florida offering assistance (in what way i still dont get) and weasels their way into meeting pastors, and other people who are giving and get money for their "non profit". Think of how much money you could make doin this, just in florida. TOO MANY people are making money off the death of a child. Its disgusting. sickening.:sick: I wouldnt expect class... ut only my opinions.

OMG did that estimate include today's fundraiser??? That is exactly what I am worried about you can make more money if your child goes missing! If your going to sell your child anyway, you could actually accomplish both. This fundraising thing is way out of hand & proportion. I agree it's disgusting & dangerous.

Hi Dee10 - I'm wondering if Somer's wandering was such an issue, why the babysitter didn't tell mom...LE...or anybody! I'm wondering if Somer didn't like the babysitter and avoided her.

Guess I have a problem with a babysitter stepping into a murder investigation and contradicting mom D. in the media. Not sure why, but I do.

If I go to a charity event, I want my money to go where it supposed to go - it could be to the family, the reward fund, Klass Kids, or to Tim Miller etc etc. When I contribute money, I want to know where it is going. So putting on a charity event for the 'family' or 'reward' is fine with me...people can make a choice that way.

1) Somer's body was discovered in landfill
2) She left school at the regular time and began walking home.
3) Somer routinely wandered around and no one knew where...
4) DT flagged down sheriff's officer DSC.
5) Burned home on Gano searched and then LE went across the street to the park
6) Gano house was proclaimed a crime scene.

OK-I'm reading and watching the comments for our list. I will add that what makes me believe the babysitter is that mama said Somer never met a stranger. That sorta cranks up my free spirit opinion of Somer. And also like I've said before, I think Somer and mama were an awful lot alike, kids learning by example, etc.

I think you misunderstood & I should have been clearer. I would go with the babysitter said, because she was there & would know first hand.

Ok, now that Ive answered a post twice, I think I will comment on my day. First I went by wlk on gano addy which I dont want to post anymore because of who lives there, and guess what A YARD SALE! I love yard sales!!! although nothin I can see, I visited a lil and I think LE was there, but due to who lives there now, they kept it on the down low.. would make sense, no?

MY grandchildren live here.. I am biased for them, and all the children out there. I dont give too poots about tickin off mommy or daddy when they care more about themselves than their kids. It was Somers Grandma that said in a video interview on tuesday that somer never met a stranger
