Wouldnt LE search the Gano house just because it was empty and the last place anyone spoke to her? Does anyone know what time workers left that day? I know, I know, its already been answered in thread... omgosh...I really have to go cook... Happy Holidays.. hopefully Sorrell is right... maybe an arrest soon..

Justice for Somer
My prayers are with her friends and family...

Mornin Everyone....

Happy Thanksgiving - tho it's just another day here in Canada, I know most all of you are busy and amongst friends & family - where you should be.

Sad, IIRC none of the details about the workers has been released by LE - when the search of the house started said they were doing so based on the last known whereabouts of Somer (I will look for back-up of that, since I'm not busy like the rest of you - cooking and baking and such today) - ETA: Found it: We do not know obviously how this ties in to the crime scene, but since it's the last known area where Somer was seen, we have obtained permission from the homeowner to go in and process it through FDLE's crime lab", said Mary Justino with the Clay County Sheriff's Department.

But AMW touched on the subject of the workers:

[snipped...]A child had seen Somer on the sidewalk in front of a vacant home where there was a house fire a few months ago.

The home at 1080 Gano Ave.in Orange Park, Fla. is only 500-600 yards from Grove Park Elementary where Somer was in the second grade.

There had been a fire at the house and workers were there remodeling it. The workers said Somer walked inside the fence around the home and even spoke to them.

But then, they say, she left. That was the last known siting of Somer alive
.

I've not heard anyone say what time the workers left that day....

Hope this helps.

ETA - Link to video of reporter claiming to have just spoke to a man over the phone named Kyle who claims he was the last person to seen HER alive - says he was at this home Monday afternoon and Somer ran up.....: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4379785&postcount=375"]http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4379785&postcount=375[/ame]

Thank You Share for the container info!

I'm still stuck on that comment about how she was dumped around 4am Tuesday morning in a local restaurant's dumpster, so when I saw the chinese container thing, I was curious if it could be relevant.
I know everyone thinks it's not a piece of the puzzle, but for some reason from the moment I saw it, I t grabbed a hold of me and won't let go. I have read all the scenarios and thought of a few myself, but that one comment just won't let me go.

:dance:HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!

If in fact she did lose the oldest child due to drugs and was in fact in rehab before then I would expect that dad would make the request

Ive looked and looked and I dont see anywhere that is says DT "lost the oldest child (IIRC oldest child is AC and lives with DT) due to drugs and was in rehab". I just didnt want anyone to take this as fact when it is a RUMOR...

Happy Thanksgiving. Well for some of us I suppose.

I wondered why you didn't just correct the age of the child here. I thought the info of another child (M) age 11 came from you. If this is true and not a rumor can you verify? Unless that case was sealed, I don't see why ST couldn't or wouldn't use that in a custody case, also.

Where did this comment come from?? First I have heard of it... anyone?

The day Somer's body was found, I found a comment (on a news site) where someone said he saw it "in a dream" that Somer has accidentally hit by a car. He got out to check on her and she was unconcious- he picked her up and put her in the backseat and took her home. When she regained conciousness she began screaming and he panicked and strangled her. He then dumped her body around 4am Tuesday morning in a local restaurant's dumpster.

It has bothered me since the moment I saw it. I don't think there was any "accident", but it does seem plausible to me that he lured her into his car, got her home and she started to scream, etc, etc.

I am not SURE of the ages... ST told me the ages (but he says AC is 13 and reports say 14) I am just pretty sure AC is the oldest. I have already stated that I dont want to discuss anything to do with another child. What they do in the divorce does not concern me... unless it somehow leads to who murdered somer. My personal hopes are that they can come together for the other kids...from the outside lookin in, I dont see how giving full custody to either parent would benefit these kids.. no matter what the number is...... they need their mom and their dad.. IMO only.. MY OPINION!!

Odd how the description of the victim's clothing was more less consistent throughout, but the descriptions of her book bag have changed drastically from start to finish - and several weeks after she was killed, a description was finally settled on and released to the public.

And no one can locate reasonable facsimiles thereof! I gotta tell ya - if no one here can find those items, then IMO, they don't & never did exist.

Descriptions of her clothing - right down to the color of her socks - was given.

Why was there so much variation regarding the book bag? I know media makes mistakes early on in the rush to get the story out, but they had everything else correct about her appearance. I believe they reported the descriptions of the book bag according to what they were told.

For some reason, those descriptions kept changing. Might that have been on purpose?

Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

I believe this is a key question in this case. There is no explanation for this to occur if a "stranger" was involved as many have been speculating.

I was posting these thoughts too. The way you put it here is concise and to the point and reinforces the value of why this would have been put out the way it was on AMW. Not because they are hoping to find these items, that is ridiculous now. But rather to see if they are being led on a wild goose chase with it. Since no update with an actual photo of facsimiles has been given, it may be safe to say that no one in the nation who watched that show has come up with them. That would mean someone, gave a description drawn out of thin air to describe items that were never missing. Either her real things were at home or in a person within her immediate circle's vehicle.

She isn't without the oldest child....

DT is without the 2nd oldest child.

For whatever reason....we don't know....but that child lives with the father.

Am I making things worse?

WOW. That would bother me too! Any chance you can find that comment again and link it? Anyone else remember this comment???

Highly plausible Snuf.....and to think, if it was WLK and he drove her out to the address on Harbor Road in Green Cove Springs - I'm not even sure anyone would hear her screams.

You've added plenty of valuable input as well, don't EVER forget it!

You've cleared up the murky plenty o' times!

Thank YOU!

My apologies. I thought the introduction of another child's existence came from you to start with. I would not have known of this except for reading your prior posts. My response was not aimed at determining who should have custody either. It was on figuring out if another child was fact or rumor, as you say. Since the issue was raised it is relevant only as to character of a major figure in the case. That is all. I am in no way asking you to discuss particulars as to age. Only to verify.

Actually Sam introduced us to Somers FOUR siblings back on October 22nd.

Altho, there have been conflicting numbers reported - even by DT herself.

IM SURE they wouldnt... and I am almost SURE the trash from that area goes to same transfer station, where somers body was transferred to Folkston.
