just thinking...what about the idea that maybe Somer went into that house until the other kids passed by, and she got injured in all of the construction work...maybe the workers panicked....oh geez i don't know, just a thought
compacted maybe, but we know she was mechanically moved from trash bin/dumpster to gtruck, mechanically moved to transfer station, and then mechanically moved to semi trailer, then mechanically moved to dumpsite in folkston.....
yes, she was crushed, tossed, and mixed with garage, over and over again, til she ended in folkston.. we have no idea how much damage was done to her little body after death...at least I hope it was all after death..
I would have to know how she died.Sexual assault?I don't know which way to go with this. Was she really shot in the head?Has any one heard anything.I have always thought someone or someone associated with the crew members fixing the house killed Somer. But she could have left there after the crossing guards left and someone else picked her up.If she was not sexually assaulted the only other person or persons I can think of is the girl?Somer got in a fight with at school?Does any one know what happened?Who was the instigator?Somer?the other Child?I know most of the time the problem with another child might be an on going situation.Who were the parents, friends of this other little girl. Also Who was the lady that said to check the dumpster at the Gano house?I also find that very interesting. Why that dumpster?
I have worked in the trash industry for some time. Most states and cities have laws requiring that the hatch or compaction door on trash trucks be closed when they are in motion on major roads. So depending on when she was actually transferred into a truck, and how much was put on top of her, she would have been compacted in some capacity. The horrors! That may have been the normal procedures. But, I think the trucks went staight to the landfill. I recall seeing a video of the trash trucks themselves being logged as to their pick-up area and directed to different zones for dumping. This was NOT a line of semi's. The idea was to NOT mix in with garbage from other areas. So I would say it is more than likely she was not compacted in the way you are describing, nor mechanically moved. I have stated before what I think was accomplished that Tuesday morning. LE was smart about it.

Those that are open topped semis, must be covered, to prevent "spillage on the highway", and considering the penalties for this seemingly minor offense, most employers are strict about making sure the rules are followed.

Do you think by not publicly clearing the family/friends, the Sheriff is playing with the creep's head? Making him wondering just how close LE is to catching him?
Just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, crews brought in a digging machine from the State Fire Marshall's Office to dig at various parts of the property and to lift heavy objects, according to officials. This is the area where 7-year-old Somer Thompson was last seen. FDLE agents are working overtime at the home, searching for evidence.
Dressed in protective white suits, several agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement sifted through a dumpster several blocks from Somer Thompson's home.
"On this side, it's pure pandemonium," said neighbor Andy Carlson.
Andy Carlson watched the search with his sons. He said it's strange seeing this type of thing in his neighborhood.
"I'm not used to all these cops all over the place," added Carlson.
Investigators collected evidence and also searched inside the vacant home at 1080 Gano Avenue. Police say the home has been empty for several months since a fire.
Carlson says the home was being renovated: "You can see in the windows, it's gutted. It just has two by four framing."
A woman, who did not want to be identified, tells First Coast News' Monica Landeros she asked investigators to search this vacant home and dumpster on Monday night.
She says, "I'm upset. It's like, should I have looked, should I have gone in the dumpster?"
Meanwhile, neighbors hope Somer's killer is found soon and wonder if any clues are inside the home.
"I really hope there is not somebody in this neighborhood that could do that to a child," said Carlson.
Somer's mom said she knew the home on Gano Avenue was vacant, but added that she never had any concerns about the home until now.
However, there has been no LE confirmation that the Gano address is THE crime scene.
