Here is what the sheriff said and to me means the person is a local and know to people. So I am ruling out the ice cream man and stranger...

"While case investigators have received a tremendous response from the public and hundreds of leads have been called in followed to their logical conclusion ... we have reason to believe there are individuals that have information that is pertinent to this investigation who have yet to come forward because they did not feel that their information was important or relevant."

"Someone in the community will unknowingly be associated with that offender and may be in a position to observe those behavioral changes," Beseler said. "They may not realize or relate those changes to the person's involvement in a crime."

Good observation. It's got to be someone within a few miles if not one mile of the school or 1080 Gano Ave.

Anyone want to speculate why they brought in heavy digging equipment to the Gano house after Somer was found?

I think there was some good discussion on the COD, not that we got anywhere concrete, but it got some wheels turning in people's minds.

PC did not work for a company that would have much of anything to do with residential, if you look up what Old Castle does, so I have eliminated anything with him being on the work site for his job.

Honestly, I think that whatever happened to her started at the Gano house. Maybe it wasn't finished there.

Oh please don't make me look this up. But the reports say that She went into the gate of the Gano house and around. I think that's pretty good paraphrase. Maybe not.

To me, that implies around to the back, although some pics showed painting in the front that was not completed.

If , and that is a big if, she went to the back where they were working, how could Kyle say she went back the way she came from? Or did he mean she left and went around the house. Maybe not indicating that she went to the sidewalk.

It's a question to me because if he meant down the sidewalk, that would imply he followed her to the front of the house.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to find out who Kyle is? Are there some kind of records that identify contractors and who is employed?

Like is there a list of Painters, or roofers, etc? A licensing website?

Do you have to have a license to paint? Of course, I know people hire under the table all of the time.

My immediate thought after reading this quote was: he is talking to a parent about their child/teenager.

I you don't have to have a license to paint for someone unless you are a business owner of the company painting the house. Not only do they hire people under the table, they also will stop by a business like Manpower and pick up laborers for the day; take them to the job site and bring them back to the company. We have several in town. They make minimum wage & are called day laborers. Not to mention all of the illegal immigrants looking for odd jobs like painting, construction, roofing.

Here is the report.. But if someone called and told the media that somer was there at the house.. why the heck would call if he had something to hide. It makes no sense. Who the heck is the guy who called ? How did he know she was there? Did someone ask him to make that call?

Couple things are bugging me....that kid that walked home with Somer - MC - the one whose uncle was in the news talking about getting MC to say if she knew where Somer went cuz she was missing....anyways, the registered home owner (mom or dad or what - not sure??) is BC....regardless, I want to know if that friend - MC - has other siblings??

Also the same for AB - I'd be interested in knowing how many kids are in that home??

One more thing, you all know DT's 1st hubby - TL - she married him in Bexar County, TX in 1994 - welllllllll, there are people in the neighbourhood with that last name....not sure if it's relevant but maybe we should slueth them a little...or have we already??????....I see ONE person with that last name living only 6 doors from Somer's house. And another couple a little further down that same street.

I read the comments in news article that you referenced, and a person who lived in the area said the renovating on the house has been slow. (I'll say-not much done since May)

The person said that s/he noticed that workers weren't there much. Makes sense with the level of progress.

That means that teens may have found it desirable, although I would think neighbors would be on that, although there is a neighbor with teen boys.

I can't figure out if there were "workers" or "worker " there that day. Of course there could have been workers there, and some left earlier leaving a "worker". Kyle.

There's a BFL - 6 doors up from DT's.
There's a DGL & PLL a ways up from there on the same street.

Ya never know....maybe there are kids in those family's - maybe even kids that go to the same school as the Thompson kids.

Sherrif Beseler said "This is a heinous crime that's been committed"....which leads me to believe it's more than just putting her in the trash - tho that's pretty heinous itself...I feel it's REALLY tarabull.

IDK. I was never good at math, especially those long algebraic equations where I was expected to solve for "x" - I always seemed to miss a step and inevitably arrived at the wrong solution.

I was always suspicious of why they just didn't tell me what "x" was!

But I was stellar at solving those "story" math problems - I think they call them "application problems." I could always pick out the pertinent information and translate it into an equation within seconds. When we were instructed to get into groups & solve the "story" math problems, everyone wanted to be on my team. :curtsey:

But if you were to ask me does x(0) = 0, I'm likely to look at you and go :waitasec:
