December is here and still no word.

I know I get carried away with my sleuthing...say and think things I probably shouldn't. Maybe we all need a reminder of just why we come here everyday, I know I do.

I decided to light a candle for Somer, my way of keeping focused. You all can join me if you'd like.

I just did. Thanks. I also prayed that they kill her killer today. I'm in that mood. I was praying last night that the cop killer was killed and it worked. So why not this monster?

As I sit here and look at her beautiful face, I am reminded of the life that was snatched away from her.. of the family that will never be able to make things right again. I see little ST, AT and AC in my mind constantly. The image of lil ST with his purple handkerchief clutched in his hands and sobs racking his tiny body. Please, Dear Lord, bring them peace... give LE and all the sleuthers here the clues they need to catch this monster..PLEASE Lord... soon.

It's ironic that you just posted this because I was just updating my FB status with the thought that Peace is not something you wish for but rather something you make.
Unfortunately each of Somer's family members, siblings and all, will have to make their own peace with this tragedy. (how do you make peace with this at age 7, or 10, or 13, or any age?)Finding her killer should ease that journey. But it is still one heck of a road to travel.

My heart breaks for this family.

If I tell you, I hate my gift. Sometimes I can wish someone dead. I've done it to a bird or two. So crazy. Doesn't work all the time though. There was a girl that really hurt my son (she falsely accused him of touching her breasts and got him suspected for a week from 7th grade). I only wished someone would hurt her how she did him (lie about something etc). Something I could find out about. Well, it took a couple of years and her mom died. Now I didn't want her to die. I hate it when that happens.

I've had lots of things happen just right after I say it. Really weird.

Well, let's hope it happens today.

Oh, thank you thank you thank you!!!! I spent HOURS last night looking for this exact video. There is someone else on here that I wanted to ask my fellow sleuths to look at with me. At the 2:23 mark, there is an LE to our left. Does that seem to be a scratch on his right arm (left from our perspective)?

Someone brought up last thread about the possibility of the perp being an LE person. I hope not with all my heart. But that brought this pix to my mind. What do you all think? Does anyone know this man?

Looks like a big scratch to me.. trying to zoom in on his name, but its not working... can anyone else see it? Grrrr. I need new glasses.

The lawyer didn't speak in the 6pm clip... at the end of the video, the reporter, Jeannie Blaylock said the attorney said sheriff besler asked him (the attorney) to watch out for the family.

JVM is having something coming up next about Somer... I just thought of something - didn't DT have on her myspace page something along the lines that her dad was in the FBI or was a secret service agent? Do any of you remember that??

My understanding of the situation is still the same. The Sheriff did not ask the lawyer to represent the family but rather once hired by Diena, the Sheriff (in a big brother way) asked him to watch out for the family. JMO

I've saved this in my notes too, bookmarked it online and now I know where we can find it again if we need to!

I think there are several sleuthers here who still want to pursue looking at DT as the perp. I hope that they are not detered by ws members who do not agree that she could be a POI in this case. I think we can still sleuth her without bashing her or her lifestyle... IMO, ALL thoughts, clues should be welcome until this monster is found. So, if you are out there, holding back, please dont. Any leads are worth pursuing.. if you find ANYTHING factual.. please share it with the rest of us.. EVERYONE (thanks houndstooth for making me think instead of letting one bad apple spoil the group for me) here wants this monster caught, dead, or at least scared to death because we/LE are getting closer... Just my thoughts.

Looks more like a bruise to me or maybe a scar, but I will admit I don't have perfect vision.

Out of the entire article, that's what stuck with me.
I always look at word choices. They tell you something about the person speaking.

To say there's something wrong implies more than the obvious to me.

Of course there is something wrong, a child killer is at large, possibly amongst them and they don't have to dig deep down to know/feel that. They are all on edge, I'd think.

So his statement implies more. What exactly, I don't know.

It didn't bother me at all when I read the context in which it was said (BBM below). Paraphrasing ... The ball games go on, people attend, people cheer, kids play, everyone is going on with activitiese as if all is normal, but inside they know something is wrong. That something is that a little girl was murdered walking home from school.

Gonzalo Floyd, 38, lives across from a large propane tank where Somer’s siblings said they last saw the little girl. Floyd said activities in the neighborhood, such as ball games at the athletic association, have continued. But he said the slaying has also shattered the sense of security area residents once enjoyed.

Someone made a donation to the family fund and posted that they got a thank you email from SP.. either on this board or another one
They called someone either sheriff dept or ?? and said they thought it strange and was told they would look into it.
Then the laywer shows up in the picture.

I think the lawyer was picked by the family members or friend or even related as I kind of thought DT and he had similar noses.. but I dont think he was picked by the sheriff

Another good point! It might also be important to note his role as a liason, too. And not just his capacity as a financial advisor or entertainment lawyer.
A liason would imply him as a go between now of her and LE. This may indicate a distancing process. That's what I was wanting to determine yesterday. I was hoping there was no indication of impropriety there. I feel that has been answered now. Thanks, always.
