Since I am the only one posting, and maybe you are now lurking... please give any info on ST that you have (facts please) on WHY DT appears to be so hateful to him. I have stated repeatedly that I have only gotten to know ST in the last couple yrs and only through visits while my dad was sick. I wasnt really concentrating on him at the time. Since Somers death we have become closer. I just happened to be there and would be trying to comfort and support anyone I know in this horrible situation. It may seem I have been taking his side, but I too just want the truth. I have always questioned why DT's hatred is so strong that she would treat him this way in these circumstances. DT never gave me any nasty looks at the funeral or treated me with hosility. CPC is another matter. I dont want to be misled and maybe that is what ST has been doing. I also have been easier on him because I dont believe he had anything to do with Somers murder, as he was right in front of me when she went missing. Nor does it appear that LE thinks he is a POI. If there is a reason I dont know about that would clear up her hostility toward him..I, for one would appreciate knowing what it is. Not for gossip purposes, but because I have let him into my life. My life that is filled with small children that depend on my judgement to protect them. No one means more to me than them. ST is not perfect I am sure. But now you have me wondering if he can be trusted. Even if all you say is NO. In Your Opinion? You say you have known them for years. Please advise.

oooooh, another mystery poster....I would think after the previous "family friends" and "People in the know", something would have been learned about automatic trust of people that come in late and seem to be so closely related to the case.
Especially those that give teasers and then run away.

No automatic trust given. Just hopeful for info.. any info. Especially info that clarifys to me DTs attitude towards ST. I just cant believe a mother would be so spiteful towards a father in these circumstances for no apparent reason other than spite. But since others seem to back up this opinion, that actually knew DT. I guess its all I have to go on. And the way ST has acted. He still does not bash her at all. Perplexing to say the least.

Regarding DT's hospitalization...that is truth. I spoke to her when she got out....the circumstances that led her there were no small matter.....unless she lied about it. I know what she told me personally.....but there are other rumors out there.

I haven't been biased one way or the other....I told what I know. I have stated before that I came on here at first to try to explain DT's odd behavior....a lot of people think that there are weird things about what she says and does. I couldn't care less what she wears, or how she acts....I never said that she had anything to so with Somers death....which I still stand by. She just has some weird mannerisms that are normal for her, but unusual for others to understand.

My whole point behind all of this is that I think she may have unknowingly brought some creepy people around the house and the kids who may have been a danger. So just in case you are unclear....I came here in her defence.

And by the way....yep its still disgusting that she is obviously more concerned about what people are saying about her rather than doing what she should be doing.....she has the other kids to take care of and make sure that they are getting through this okay......THAT should be the priority.

I didnt realize you had to wait for each answer.. and I never think you care about posters too much anyway, they dont seem to affect your opinions. You always seem to take it all with a grain of salt!

I can't find any record of him. She was arrested in Homosassa back in April for domestic violence battery but he dropped the charges. His name isn't listed on the court record.

A 9 year old girl in Deland, Florida recently reported that she was the victim of an attempted kidnapping / abduction as she was walking home from a school bus stop area. The girl reported that a man grabbed her. The girl then screamed. Thereafter, the man ran let her go after the screams and after possibly being scared away once he was spotted by a motorist.

This incident shows the dangers of walking home from a school bus stop. Many working parents are not able to pick up their children from school or at a bus stop area. This, in turn, puts a child in danger for abduction, kidnapping, and injury. Parents should do their best to arrange for supervision and safety precautions for children walking home from bus stop areas. If a parent cannot personally be there, arrangements should be attempted with other parents. In addition, a buddy system should be arranged for children who do not have parental or adult supervision when walking home from a busy stop area.
