He could be gay or his relationship with Diena could be platonic.
Either would be reason enough for Perry had no problem with him being there.
Then again, it wasn't Perry's house so he wouldn't have much say in who stayed or went, would he? Although he could make his feelings known by actions.
Note: For purposes of this post, I am considering Diena the homeowner although I know that technically her parents own the house.
