Then you don't believe DT, AT or anyone else. I don't believe them fully either.

Well, you'd be wrong. Not knowing whether something is fact and believing someone are two different things to me.

Do I know what happened that day? No. There are so many reports, and all seemed feasible when first heard. For example:

Where Somer was last seen (initially it was at DeBarry and Gano). People leave their houses and search based on this information. Only to find out that she never made it that far, and was last seen near the Gano house.

These changes are probably due to facts uncovered during the investigation or possibly out and out lies ... but they are details that I am not privy to. I base my beliefs on what I read but I don't feel that it's really an informed decision.

The Kyle info still confuses me. What do we know about that? I know it's been discussed at legnth but I still don't get it.
So, Kyle was working on the Gano house that burned and Somer told him they were doing a good job on the renovations right?
But, wasn't there some confussion on who Kyle was? If he was real? He contacted reporter or reporter contacted him?

I missed a lot on this subject.

I agree. She did go to a stranger. She went to Kyle we know for a fact.

But Kyle contacted the media. Now I thought we weren't believing anything the media says.

  • #584
We also know for a fact someone gave Kyles name to a reporter. The people most likely to have his name were the police.

Now why would they do that.

Early on in the case a poster contacted the reporter by email and the reporter said he called Kyle.

I believe that the reporter contacted Kyle. (reference MommaD's post which is mentioned in the Facts list in my signature. I think it is Facts II -- talk about Gano House).

Why believe someone when they have an agenda. The media has an agenda. Kids are known to lie as well. We are only going by what AT's recollection was according to the police report. Now if the police report is wrong guess what we have no facts to go by.

Pin, your making more of this than needs to be IMO. I call the list "facts" but since we have found conflicting stories about the same thing, they both cannot be facts.

I only mean that anything reported by media should be taken with grain of salt. And I can't say I "KNOW" something is true when there are two media sources saying two different things.

Either way media involvement put evidence in jeopardy. How do we know the truth? Reporters aren't the most honest. Even Dan Rather got in trouble for falsifying data on George Bush.

Evidence must be gathered by LE not the news.

a Christmas wish for Mom Diena and her little ones.

My heart goes out to mom Diena and her nest of little ones in every way possible.

I wish you and your beautiful children the very best Christmas possible. There is no doubt in my mind that a Christmas without little Somer who, in the past, must have filled the holiday air with her vibrant and loving personality, will be difficult at best. May the holiday cheer from those who love and cherish your beautiful family, surround you with strength and fill your home with warmth. And may the twin, who has lost his other half, find joy and excitement for both he and Somer.

My New Years Wish is that the predator who killed little Somer be found and convicted, and sentenced to the max. With justice, perhaps all involved can find peace in their hearts and some sense of normalcy.

Heartfelt good wishes to Dad T. and the entire extended family. I can't imagine how heartbreaking it must be to lose a daughter, grand-daughter, cousin, your other half, or friend.

PS - I bet Somer was a playful, independent, sassy, little girl. Her loving ways may be what brought her in contact with other children who started tiffs - for the sake of clarity, I highly doubt Somer was the angry, depressed, and lonely child some have made her out to be. :blowkiss: You go little Somer!

I agree that evidence must be gathered by LE and not the media.
But, if we wait on what's coming from LE to talk about this case, we wouldn't be able to say much. They are not releasing much info.

So, right now, all we have is media. But, I agree with Noway, we have to take it with a grain of salt.

Noway, do you remember early in the Stacy Peterson case I believe it was Tim Millers group or another search group talking about how they look for a body and one of the things was often a killer takes the first two right turns from the murder scene then dumps the body along that road?

Wow, that's interesting. I never heard that.

Hi Dr.Fessel: I was there helping in the search for Stacy and I have no recollection of anyone reducing a search to such a small area. I would be shocked if Tim ever said such a thing - he and his crew are equipped to search everywhere. Could it have been a light-hearted comment - or a big wish? mho

I always figured it had to do with right turns being the easiest and quickest to take and the need to get rid of the body but the reason was not spelled out.

No, it was a copied section of one of the search teams or LE SOP. It was posted on FSP. I am trying to google anything like that.

He also has said that he doesn't think he will ever find Haliegh Cummings body and commends LE for finding Somer.

The strange thing is they found Somer so soon. We were all expecting a quick arrest instead this happened, the lack of any true evidence to incriminate one person. The trash contaminated whatever evidence there is.

I know it's hard to keep up with all of the threads, but this has been mentioned before.....just back about 5 pages (not threads).

Good nite all....

who wants to go check out every dumpster in OP? I heard that crime scenes are usually two right turns from the dump spot... two left turns from every dumpster in op.. it could take a while with all the possible left turns..

but maybe its easy too... just two turns away.

LOL, I was wondering where it would take me of I took two left turns from hooters parking lot dumpster... now I will dream of dumpsters again.. not quiet at all... nite again all

can u imagine calling LE with that tip? Since I assume you know the dumpster, will you please just make two left turns from there and arrest the perp just waiting at that house? That is the murderer. I am sure of it!

WLK'S registered addy is two right turns to OPJH dumpster.

I cant get away from the dumpster behind hooters.. its like a totally drive through dumpster... secluded and low enough that you wouldnt have to heave the body into it. and an easy and quick get away.. bars are open there til at least 2am. There is also an apt complex right next to the parking lot..oops. not two rights, two lefts, but no traffic to cross or lights to go thru...

Thanks Chick I do remember reading those quotes from Sad but I did not realize it was because of a search team talking about 2 right turns.

Sad and I were talking about it in PMs last night. I just thought I would see if anyone else remembers or heard it like I did.
